I was beginning to think that no one in eastern Canada was doing any betta breeding and raising over the last few months - or else everyone is doing just fine....
Here in southern Ontario I am doing fine. I bred 2 male Paradise Fish with females Bettas a few weekends ago. Yes, had fry from both. Fry died at day 5. And...
After my move I plan on beign much more active, but the lovely waters of Aurora killed ALL my stock...a few got through the really bad part, but those left...

hello all, i am still alive, out of school and working full time, right now i am in the process of setting up a spawn with a yellow male and a pastel white...
I've been using those peat-pots for plants as additions to my betta tanks. They keep the water soft and slightly acid (also use Jungle start-right). Might help...
I think the quietness on the list reflects the weather. Come winter it will be busier again! Summer is a busy season and many people move, vacation or work...
