Whether you own a beagle or a coonhound or a mixed breed hound, you are welcome to join this group. Non-Canadian residents are welcome too!
This group promotes spay/neutering, full vetting, and microchipping of all dogs before placement, and the keeping of hounds as indoor pets. It is not intended for people looking for hounds to breed or for hunting purposes. For this reason, the group now has a restricted membership and new members are asked to apply and fill out a questionnaire before they can join. Anyone found to have unethical rescue practices will be unsubscribed.
