The OPPG (Ottawa {and Gatineau} Pagan Peer Group) Yahoo group is
meant to be a comfortable place for Ottawa and area Pagans of all kinds
to discuss issues related to being Pagan or just to being human.

Anyone is welcome here as long as they join with good intentions, a
sense of humour and are not here to criticize, preach or attempt to convert others to their path. No spam either please! That will get you slapped and repeats will get you banned!

If you are a beginner, feel free to ask any questions you may have. If
you are advanced, feel free to share your knowledge and expertise. No
question is ever considered stupid here! Please post a short little bio
telling us a little about yourself. I am sure you will get a lot of welcome messages in return. If you are here just out of curiosity, that is fine. I am sure you will find plenty of people to answer any questions you may have about what is to be Pagan.

We do NOT discourage general chat or lurking. Members are welcome to
ask for advice or share information and concerns even if they are not
directly related to Paganism.

We can sometimes be a very high volume list, so consider yourself warned! :)

Since you are a new member to OPPG you are on MODERATED
status until we can get a chance to meet you. The best way for us to
meet you (and for you to meet us) is to come out to one of the brunches
or Meet and Greet gatherings. This will give you a chance to meet us
and see who is on the other end of the keyboard. Once we have met
you and know who you are we can take you off moderated status and
your messages will appear much faster in the group without having
to be approved by a moderator.
