I’m back -

– 20 years ago on 9 November the Berlin Wall fell and offered physical freedom to those imprisoned under the Communist joke.

– now over 60 years ago the mental Berlin Wall – of the mind – as expressed in the Holocaust needs to be torn down – so as to liberate peoples in western democracies who believe that Germans systematically exterminated European Jews in homicidal gas chambers.

– why is important to demolish the Holocaust lies? Truth-telling is a moral virtue and leads to trust which is a moral virtue needed to have sustainable and well-functioning communities. The Holocaust dogma is perverting our understanding of world history, and is distorting and twisting our own world view.

– think of the Palestinians and how they are being systematically exterminated through the construction of the Jewish-Israeli wall in Palestine.

Cheers

Fredrick

Greetings Gents,
I think it is a good idea and maybe Keven Barrett can insert enough 911 Truths inserted if they permit witnesses. Since the court is under the color and force of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA INCORPORATED a foreign owned entity, the trial will be about as fair as trial of the Nazis after WWII .

Major Hasan Of Fort Hood - A Patsy In A Drill Gone Live? By Webster G. Tarpley

In the wake of the massacre at Fort Hood Texas , two principal theories have emerged to explain the conduct of the accused shooter, identified by the U.S. Army as Major Nidal Malik Hasan, an Army psychiatrist of Jordanian-Palestinian ancestry. One of these theories is embraced by left liberals and other supporters and acolytes of the Obama regime, and argues that Major Hasan is a sincere and devout Muslim who was the victim of a tragic contradiction between his religious faith and the logic of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, both the heritage of the odious Bush-Cheney regime. According to this version, Hasan must be viewed as a troubled and tormented individual who "snapped," breaking down psychologically under the stress of his awful predicament. Here is how Obama summed up this approach: "Even within the extraordinary military that we have -- and I think everybody understands how outstanding the young men and women in uniform are under the most severe stress -- there are going to be instances in which an individual cracks." (New York Times, 10 Nov and ember 2009) Calling Major Hasan a terrorist amounts, in this view, to racism and vindictive prejudice.

The other theory is the one advocated by assorted neocons, reactionaries, Islamophobes and others generally hostile to Obama. This account maintains that Major Hasan was a homegrown, self-starting Islamic terrorist, trumpeting his devotion to jihad and suicide bombing, seeking to make contact with "Al Qaeda," and generally filled with hate for America , for freedom, and for his fellow soldiers. In this view, it is only the pervasive political correctness and multicultural obsession of the subversive-riddled and soft on terrorism Obama regime that prevented Major Hasan from being neutralized before he could act, and which prevents Obama and his Democratic allies from telling the truth after the fact.

These views are both superficial, nave, and inadequate.[1] They amount to two prongs of an articulated campaign of media hysteria and mass manipulation designed on the one hand to prod the dithering Wall Street puppet Obama who is having second thoughts about his own political survival -- into an early decision in favor of massive escalation of the war in Afghanistan for the purpose of hastening the breakup of Pakistan, and thus threatening China. On the other hand, the delirium of Islamophobic hatred being ginned up against Major Hasan by the usual cast of reactionary radio ogres (Limbaugh, Beck, Hannity, Levin) seeks to accentuate and strengthen the racist and xenophobic elements in the militant anti-Obama opposition, in particular among the Tea Party movement. The decision to put the infamous Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his confreres on trail in New York City, plus the recent government seizure of numerous US mosques and other buildings on the grounds that they are Iranian assets, also contribute to a growing mood of anti-Moslem hysteria. This atmosphere is accentuated by the reckless and irresponsible actions of some Moslem groups which happen to be foundation-funded, and must thus be considered as part of the apparatus of US domestic social control.

The media narrative which is now being consolidated a week after the shootings is full of contradictions, embarrassed silences, and absurdities. A third and distinct approach to this case is therefore required, one which regards Major Hasan as a manipulated patsy in the context of a relatively sophisticated operation mounted by forces within the US intelligence community, using methods and assets which by now ought to have become familiar. Major Hasan can be seen as a mixture of Lee Harvey Oswald, legendary 9/11 "suicide pilot" Mohammed Atta, and Cho Seung-Hui (the alleged April 2007 Virginia Tech shooter). He also has elements of reputed Robert Kennedy assassin Sirhan Sirhan, and of John Hinckley Jr., who was involved in an attempt to kill President Reagan both of whom survived the operations in which they were implicated. He thus represents a new cocktail of patsy ingredients. Until now, Islamic terrorists had come in collectivist groups, and not alone. Major Hasan by contrast is a troubled loner in the tradition of Oswald, at the same time that he embodies the religious fanaticism of Atta, along with some of his peccadilloes. Major Hasan is that novelty, a troubled Islamic fundamentalist loner, even though this is something of a contradiction in terms. Like Cho, Major Hasan emerges from the psychiatric clinic, in his case as a practicing psychiatrist, but as a shrink with egregious symptoms of his own. Like all patsies, Major Hasan combines the flamboyant and bombastic proclamation of his personal creed with a seeming immunity from bureaucratic countermeasures which would normally be automatic in shutting him down. Hasan is revealed as a fanatic, a misfit, and a quasi-psychotic or psychotic mental case in his own right who could not subsist without protectors in high places of the US intelligence community.

In my 2005 book 9/11 Synthetic Terrorism, I argued that 9/11 and other recent terrorist attacks represented provocations cynically orchestrated by privately controlled rogue networks operating within the US intelligence agencies for purposes of mass political manipulation. Starting from an overview of terrorist actions from the Gunpowder Plot of 1605 through 9/11, I developed a method of analysis of state-sponsored false flag terrorism which distinguished the roles of fanatical, duped, or psychotic patsies like Oswald, of subversive moles ensconced as officials within government agencies, and of technicians or professional killers who actually create the observed effects, all commanded and coordinated from outside of government, and all operating within the atmosphere of mass brainwashing provided by the Wall Street media. I also highlighted the role of drills and exercises which are hijacked and turned into real-world terror attacks. In order to understand the Fort Hood massacre, it is indispensable to apply this method here as well.

Yep, have one dog with dog-flue.

The veterinary told me today he had 12 dogs last days with dog-influenza. He gave three injections and I have to come back in 2 and 4 days for the other injections. He told me to seperate from the other dogs, but this is probably too late. But I'm not sure the virus is that contagious; my other dogs haven't got these symptoms yet, except for very weak signals, while this particular dog is already coughing for 4 days.

H3N8 Flu Is Truly One for the Dogs

Sunday , October 18, 2009

By Karlie Pouliot

FC1
ADVERTISEMENT
As if we didn’t already have enough flu to deal with this year, there's another new strain that's taking its toll on man's best friend.
It's called H3N8 flu, and it's been around for decades -- and it doesn't affect humans. But it recently jumped from one species to another, and now it's affecting dogs everywhere.
“In this case, it was originally an equine influenza, which we’ve known about for 40 years,” Dr. David Bessler, senior emergency clinician at NYC Veterinary Specialists and 24-Hour Emergency in Manhattan told FoxNews.com.
“In 2004 there was a couple of outbreaks in greyhound colonies in racetracks down in Florida of upper respiratory disease, and from that we eventually found out it was canine influenza.”
In September of 2005, the virus was identified by experts as “a newly emerging pathogen in the dog population,” the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on its Web Site.
“This disease is incredibly contagious,” Bessler said. “Virtually every dog exposed to the virus will become infected. It’s that contagious.”
Dogs at highest risk are often involved in "social" situations such as doggy daycare, dog shows and dog parks. The canine flu is spread by direct contact with respiratory secretions from infected dogs, so pet owners whose dogs are showing signs of infection should avoid social interaction with other dogs until the symptoms have passed.
Full Coverage H1N1: Click here
The problem with H3N8 flu is that mimics another syndrome that affects dogs.
“The symptoms are virtually indistinguishable from a bunch of other respiratory diseases in dogs that we’ve grouped together under the name 'kennel cough,'” Bessler said.
“There’s really no way to tell, based on symptoms alone, that you’re dealing with canine influenza rather than any of the other causes of kennel cough, but there are tests that are available.”
You can also look for signs of the flu in your dog, which include:
— Cough (sounds like the dog has something stuck in its throat);
— Runny nose;
— Discharge from the eyes;
— Fever (hot ears are often a sign of fever);
— Loss of appetite;
— Weakness and lethargy.
If you see these signs, you should take your dog to the veterinarian right away, so they can test for the flu.
“The most important thing to remember is a vast of majority of these cases are mild and resolve on their own even without any treatment,” Bessler said. “A minority of cases can progress to more serious diseases such as pneumonia, and a very, very small minority will result in death. There’s about a 5 percent mortality rate.”
So what can you do to protect Fido? The same thing you do for yourself and your children: get your pooch a flu shot.
“It’s called the canine influenza vaccine and it’s been granted a provisional license by the USDA, which is usually reserved for cases of extreme need to prevent animal suffering and/or economic loss. Basically for an emergency situation,” Bessler said.
The vaccine, manufactured by Schering Plough, doesn’t protect dogs from becoming infected, but it lessens symptoms and shortens how long a dog is contagious.
“And so by shortening the time a dog is contagious, the vaccine also helps prevent the spread of the disease,” Bessler added. “It’s also a safe vaccine. There was a field test where more than 700 dogs were vaccinated and there were no reported side effects or adverse reactions.”
If your dog does come down with the flu, there are several courses of treatment, including antibiotics and intravenous fluids to keep your pooch hydrated.
And unlike H1N1, Bessler said, humans don’t have to worry about being affected by H3N8.
“To date there have been no cases of transmission to humans,” he said.
Still, the CDC is keeping a close eye on H3N8, as well as other animal flu viruses, because influenza viruses are constantly changing and there's always a chance that they may jump species.

Dick Cheney lied about 9/11
Book: WH, FAA altered timelines; Cheney's Flight 93 story 'palpably false.'

The Lies They Told

Published: November 12, 2009

When Sept. 11, 2001, dawned, the Northeast Air Defense Sector in Rome, N.Y., went on full alert --- to prepare for a training exercise that envisioned a sneak attack by Russian planes flying over the North Pole to bomb the United States, a prospect that Defense Secretary Robert McNamara had dismissed as outdated in 1966. Later that morning, after American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 had hit the World Trade Center and American Airlines Flight 77 the Pentagon, three F-16 fighter jets were scrambled from Langley Air Force Base to form a combat air patrol over Washington. But degraded radio transmission quality meant that the pilots were left clueless about the nature of their mission. On seeing the Pentagon in flames, the lead fighter pilot later explained, "I reverted to the Russian threat. . . . I'm thinking cruise missile threat from the sea. You know, you look down and see the Pentagon burning, and I thought the bastards snuck one by us. . . . You couldn't see any airplanes, and no one told us anything."

THE GROUND TRUTH

The Untold Story of America Under Attack on 9/11

By John Farmer

388 pp. Riverhead Books. $26.95

For all the trillions of dollars lavished on it, for all the talk about confronting new security threats, for all the exhortations to reinvent government, America's defense establishment, as John Farmer reminds us in "The Ground Truth," continued to fight the cold war more than a decade after it had ended. Preoccupied with building a costly missile defense system to counter a spurious menace from Russia and with maintaining "full spectrum dominance" over the rest of the globe, most Bush administration officials blithely ignored the danger emanating from the caves of Afghanistan, where Osama bin Laden and his acolytes plotted against America. Confronted by a small group of mostly Saudi nationals armed with box cutters, the central nervous system of the country's defense agencies went into a state of cataleptic shock. The only decisive action taken on 9/11 came not from the military, but from the courageous passengers who stormed the cockpit of United Airlines Flight 93, leading the hijackers to crash the plane over Pennsylvania farmland before it could reach its intended target in Washington.

As senior counsel to the 9/11 Commission, Farmer, who was the attorney general of New Jersey and is the dean of the Rutgers School of Law, investigated the derelict conduct of the national security apparatus. He was well prepared to do so. In their valuable account of the commission's activities, "Without Precedent," the commission chairman, Thomas Kean, and the vice chairman, Lee Hamilton, noted that shortly after the attacks, Farmer --- "one of our most important hires" --- established a victims' assistance center in New Jersey and helped the F.B.I. uncover important evidence in garbage at Newark International Airport. But the commission's efforts to reconstruct the tragedy itself were, at best, resented and, at worst, impeded by the sprawling defense bureaucracy and the Bush administration, both of which had much to hide. Even two reports by the inspectors general of the Defense and Transportation Departments, released in 2006, whitewashed government failures. Now that numerous transcripts and tapes have been declassified, however, Farmer draws on them to assail the government’s official depiction of 9/11 as so much public relations flimflam.

Perhaps nothing perturbs Farmer more than the contention that high-ranking officials responded quickly and effectively to the revelation that Qaeda attacks were taking place. Nothing, Farmer indicates, could be further from the truth: President George W. Bush and other officials were mostly irrelevant during the hijackings; instead, it was the ground-level commanders who made operational decisions in an ad hoc fashion. The memoirs of the White House terrorism expert Richard Clarke, which Farmer credits with good faith, make it sound as though a dramatic videoconference that Clarke led played a crucial role in organizing a response to the hijackings, but Farmer says that "this account does not square in any significant respect with what occurred that morning."

To bolster such contentions, Farmer focuses minutely on newly available transcripts from the Federal Aviation Administration and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD). He shows that, perversely enough, the one defense agency that had suffered draconian budget cuts was NORAD, which had seen its alert sites reduced from about two dozen to a pitiful seven and, in any case, was unable to view large areas of the continental United States owing to its antiquated radar system.

In addition, local commanders bypassed established protocols for reporting and requesting assistance for a hijacking, in part because they had so little time in which to act. Farmer superbly renders the knuckle-biting tension and confusion engendered by the hijackings, and says the leadership of the F.A.A. and the Defense Department "would remain largely irrelevant to the critical decision making and unaware of the evolving situation 'on the ground' until the attacks were completed" --- thereby making it close to impossible for the military to intercept any aircraft.

Yet both Deputy Defense Secretary Paul Wolfowitz and Vice President Dick Cheney, Farmer says, provided palpably false versions that touted the military's readiness to shoot down United 93 before it could hit Washington. Planes were never in place to intercept it. By the time the Northeast Air Defense Sector had been informed of the hijacking, United 93 had already crashed. Farmer scrutinizes F.A.A. and NORAD records to provide irrefragable evidence that a day after a Sept. 17 White House briefing, both agencies suddenly altered their chronologies to produce a coherent timeline and story that "fit together nicely with the account provided publicly by Deputy Defense Secretary Wolfowitz and Vice President Cheney."

Farmer further observes that the Bush administration wrongly asserted that the chain of command functioned on 9/11; that President Bush issued an authorization to shoot down hijacked commercial flights; and that top officials at F.A.A. headquarters coordinated their actions with the military. Farmer's verdict: "History should record that whether through unprecedented administrative incompetence or orchestrated mendacity, the American people were misled about the nation’s response to the 9/11 attacks."

Farmer explains that his hope is to lay some conspiracy theories to rest "by identifying and establishing the deception that actually did occur." Surprisingly, however, he contends that the administration's account of 9/11 "didn't provide a pretext for aggression, as did the government's manipulation of intelligence regarding the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq." But this isn't quite right. There is, in fact, an intimate connection between the two.

It doesn't require scouring the archives to notice that 9/11 was relentlessly exploited by the Bush administration to serve as the founding myth for the war on terror, which was seamlessly expanded from Afghanistan to Iraq. In retrospect, the administration's public portrayal of itself and the armed forces as acting heroically on 9/11 can be seen as an integral part of the selling of the Iraq war.

Farmer also suggests that the cold war did not come to an end until the 9/11 attacks took place. But this, too, is questionable. In trumpeting an ill-defined war against terrorism, Bush simply transposed the bombast of the cold war to the present to suggest that he was a new Churchill staring down evil and that America needed to combat a new totalitarian threat emerging from the Islamic world. Still, Farmer's accomplishment is to throw 9/11 into fresh relief. A precise and reliable accounting of what happened has been absent until now. This is it.

U.S. ambassador dissents on Afghan troop increase

The U.S. ambassador in Kabul sent two classified cables to Washington in the last week expressing deep concerns about sending more U.S. troops to Afghanistan until Afghan President Hamid Karzai's government demonstrates that it is willing to tackle the corruption and mismanagement that has fueled the Taliban's rise, said senior U.S. officials.

"November 13, 2009 at 12:12 am

Vitamin C and Vitamin E together reduce flu mortality in mice. The doses in mice were vitamin E (60 mg/kg b.w.) and vitamin C (80 mg/kg b.w.). This would be equivalent to approx 6g / day Vitamin E and 8g / day Vitamin C.
30 IU vitamin E = 20mg, so Id say the adult dose of vitamin E during a pandemic is at least 3000 IU (2g/day).

I think these doses would only be necessary if there was already a lung infection. Prior to lung infection, the doses could be much smaller. Also Vitamin E is fat-soluble so you could probably use much lower doses of E if there is not an active deadly infection spreading in society. Neither of these vitamins are toxic so you can take high doses with only mild side effects.

So to summarize, as a preventative, take a high but reasonable dose (1 400 IU vit E pill 2x day, 500mg vit C 3x day). To treat pneumonia, the doses will probably need to be 10-20x the preventative dose, perhaps even higher.

D3 adults need 2,000 IU a day to maintain immune status. Children I am unsure. I would feel fine giving my own child 500 IU / day.

Generally, you can normalize doses for children by body weight. So any medicine dose for a 200lb man must be divided by at least a factor of 4x for a 50lb child.

For bioactive compounds, generally the more times per day they are applied, the better. 3x a day is usually better than 1x a day, because it maintains more stable blood plasma levels. On the other hand, it is a bit of a pain in the neck to take pills 3x a day. Generally, I go for 2x a day as a compromise.

So Id say at least morning and night during an epidemic. Better still, you can take a supplement with each meal if there is a really nasty flu going around. Prior to an epidemic, you dont need the super-high doses, you just need enough to maintain your bodys immune system in good shape.

In terms of nebulizing silver treatment, Id say at least 3x a day during an epidemic. During times like this, prior to the arrival of a pandemic virus, 1x a day is probably more than sufficient. If someone contracts a viral illness, I would nebulizer silver more or less continuously while awake. You can do this while watching movies or listening to internet radio etc if you contract a lung infection.

Hope this helps. Also dont forget N-acetyl-cysteine. This is a great antioxidant for lung infection. You can get it in bulk from http://purebulk.com. Its a fantastic treatment for pneumonia as it will prevent lung cell death. I would give NAC at 20-50g/day to anyone with active pneumonia. NAC easily dissolves in water for administration of higher doses. 1-2g/day in divided doses is sufficient as preventative. You can also get NAC pills online or from GNC. [I prefer the Jarrow brand, found at either Rainbow Grocery or Whole Foods -ed]

Illinois the next Gitmo? --Chicago Tribune: Near-empty prison a leading contender to house terror suspects 14 Nov 2009 A near-empty prison in rural Illinois has emerged as "a leading option" to house suspected terrorists currently held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, an Obama administration official said Friday. As they work to shutter the controversial detention center, federal officials are talking to Illinois officials about buying the Thomson Correctional Center, a maximum-security prison about 150 miles west of Chicago.

Breaking: Two die in China after H1N1 flu vaccine 14 Nov 2009 Two people died after they were inoculated with the H1N1 flu vaccine in China, health authorities reported, amid wariness among the Chinese about the quality of the shot. Deng Haihua, spokesman for the health ministry, said in a statement posted on the website late Friday that authorities had been notified of the deaths in the past two days, but he gave no personal details of the victims. Khadr to stand trial at military tribunal --U.S., Canada embracing Bush-era disdain for justice in trying to find a forum to guarantee conviction, critics say 14 Nov 2009 Omar Khadr's fate remains in the legal twilight of widely denounced military tribunals, despite President Barack Obama's promise to end the makeshift Bush-era system for putting terrorists on trial and to shutter the notorious Guantanamo Bay prison camp. Instead, the Obama administration has tinkered with, but not scrapped, military commissions and intends to put a child soldier on trial, the first time it has been done at a war crimes tribunal since the Second World War. The Harper government applauded the decision, even as it fought in Canada's Supreme Court to overturn an order to bring Mr. Khadr home. He has been imprisoned in Guantanamo Bay for nearly eight years. Mr. Khadr, who has been in prison - including years in solitary - since 2002 may still be years away from having his case heard... "Any trial before the revised system of military commissions will carry the stigma of Guantanamo," said Human Rights Watch in a statement that accused the Obama administration of reviving the "discredited military commissions by trying a child soldier."

'Shocking' that Khadr will face military commission in U.S.: lawyer --AG Eric Holder announced Friday that the Toronto-born Khadr, the only westerner still at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, is one of five who will face military tribunals on U.S. soil. 13 Nov 2009 Omar Khadr's civilian lawyer in the United States said Friday he was disappointed to hear Washington is pressing ahead with military commission proceedings against the Canadian terror suspect. Barry Coburn said he finds the decision "shocking." "We thought that the incoming Obama administration signalled a new day with respect to these cases - a new respect for civil liberties, an abhorrence of torture, a respect for the time-honoured legal procedures and protections that are mandated by the constitution and enforced by the federal courts, " Coburn told The Canadian Press in a telephone interview.

Accused 9/11 plotter Khalid Sheikh Mohammed faces New York 'trial' --AG: All five to be tried together; prosecutors will seek death penalty 13 Nov 2009 Five Guantanamo Bay detainees with alleged ties to the 9/11 conspiracy, including accused mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, will be transferred to New York to go on trial in civilian court, Attorney General Eric Holder announced Friday. Mohammed, Ramzi Bin al-Shibh, Walid bin Attash, Ali Abdul Aziz Ali and Mustafa Ahmed al-Hawsawi will all be transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York -- a short distance from the World Trade Center towers that were destroyed in the September 11 attacks. [KSM was waterboarded 183 times in one month. (Gee, I'd confess to the 9/11 attacks, too.) Regrettably, the actual architects of the 9/11 terror attacks -- the Bush/Cheney cabal -- have yet to be tried for treason and war crimes. --LRP]

'Well, if they're [9/11 terror suspects] acquitted, they're not going to be out walking the streets. The Justice Department will just pick them up and charge them with something else.' ...'They've got a drawer full of other charges use against them. So, they can just re-arrest them and charge them with something else.' NBC News justice correspondent Pete Williams on MSNBC 13 Nov 2009.

US military: We pay hundreds of millions of dollars to Afghan insurgents --How the US Funds the Taliban By Aram Roston 11 Nov 2009 It is an accepted fact of the military logistics operation in Afghanistan that the US government funds the very forces American troops are fighting. And it is a deadly irony, because these funds add up to a huge amount of money for the Taliban. "It's a big part of their income," one of the top Afghan government security officials told The Nation in an interview. In fact, US military officials in Kabul estimate that a minimum of 10 percent of the Pentagon's logistics contracts--hundreds of millions of dollars--consists of payments to insurgents. [CLG has been reporting this insanity for years. Too bad the mainstream media won't cover it, instead of spending 24/7 on bimbo Sarah Palin's ghostwritten insipid Mantra of Whine. --LRP]

Drugs, bribes and 'police' in the pocket of the Taliban 06 Nov 2009 Having served in Afghanistan with the British Army, mentoring Afghan soldiers and police officers in 2006-7 and again last year, I know that the men who make up that police force are not officers of the law in any way we would recognise... Meanwhile, they are infiltrated by the Taliban at every level. The man named locally as responsible for shooting dead the five British soldiers this week is known to have links with the Taliban. The way the system works is that the Afghan government employs warlords who, in turn, recruit locals to serve as militia.

9 ISAF Troops Injured In Bomb Blast Near US Base In Afghanistan 13 Nov 2009 Nine members of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) and 10 civilian contractors were injured Friday in a suicide-bomb blast before a US military base in the eastern part of the Afghan capital Kabul. The bomber, who was driving an explosive-packed vehicle, triggered the blast on Jalalabad Road, a locality that houses several international military bases.

Orszag Says 40,000 More Troops Would Cost $40 Billion 12 Nov 2009 Sending 40,000 more U.S. troops to Afghanistan would cost an extra $40 billion a year, White House Budget Director Peter Orszag said today. Orszag, speaking at the Bloomberg Washington Summit, said "every 10,000 troops would entail a fiscal year cost of about $10 billion, very roughly speaking."

UK to ask allies for 5,000 more troops in Afghanistan 13 Nov 2009 Prime Minister Gordon Brown said on Friday Britain was trying to persuade its military allies fighting Taliban 'insurgents' in Afghanistan to send 5,000 more troops. He said he wanted to encourage members of the NATO-led coalition to share the burden of combat and help train Afghan soldiers.

Germany sending 120 more combat troops to Afghanistan --Opinion polls show most Germans oppose military involvement, which has cost the lives of 36 of their countrymen. 13 Nov 2009 Germany will send 120 more soldiers to northern Afghanistan to reinforce its base in the Kundus province, Defense Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg said on Friday. Guttenberg announced the modest increase during a surprise visit to Afghanistan, where Germany has the third largest contingent in the NATO-led mission with 4,200 troops.

Death toll in Pakistan bombing up to 17: official 14 Nov 2009 The death toll from a powerful suicide car bomb which ripped through the Peshawar headquarters of Pakistan's top spy agency rose to 17 on Saturday, officials said. The early Friday attack devastated the provincial headquarters in the city of Peshawar of the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), which is heavily involved in Pakistan's anti-terror fight, destroying more than half the building.

Former US envoy Galbraith could earn $100m from Iraqi oil field 13 Nov 2009 A prominent former United Nations official was forced to defend himself yesterday against accusations that he used his influence in Iraq to enrich himself. Peter Galbraith, a former US ambassador who recently quit as deputy head of the UN mission in Kabul, struck a potentially lucrative oil deal in Iraqi Kurdistan which could reportedly earn him $100 million (60 million). He helped the Kurds to negotiate provisions in the 2005 Iraqi Constitution that gave them control over new oil finds on their territory. [Insurgency?]

Ahmadinejad calls for WMD-free world 13 Nov 2009 Iran's President has repeated calls for global nuclear disarmament, saying the existence of atomic weapons has not solved any of the outstanding problems facing mankind. "There is no need for a nuclear bomb for that matter," said President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Friday. "Their [the nuclear bombs] existence today has not helped the world in the least."

Controllers Were Slow to Notify Defense Command of Errant Jet 14 Nov 2009 Air traffic control supervisors delayed nearly an hour in notifying Norad, the military air defense command, that a Northwest Airlines jetliner was not responding to radio calls, the head of the Federal Aviation Administration said Friday. The delay was a violation of detailed procedures put in place after the hijackings of four airplanes on Sept. 11, 2001. The delay appeared to make little difference to Norad, said the administrator, J. Randolph Babbitt, because while the Air Force did prepare fighter jets in the incident it never ordered them into the air.

Fort Hood suspect may be paralyzed --Hasan's attorney says he will seek psychiatric evaluation 14 Nov 2009 The accused Fort Hood gunman has no feeling in his legs and may be paralyzed from the waist down, his attorney said Friday after visiting Maj. Nidal M. Hasan in his hospital room. Retired Col. John Galligan, who has been hired by Hasan's family to defend him against murder charges, said the Army psychiatrist remains in the intensive care unit of a San Antonio military hospital, where he is in great pain, except for his legs.

Congressman says Ft. Hood shooter had Pakistan 'connection' 13 Nov 2009 The suspected shooter at last week's Ft. Hood massacre had a "connection" to Pakistan, a Texas lawmaker said Friday. Rep. Mike McCaul (R) suggested a financial relationship between Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan and Pakistan, a country long plagued by terror groups, including al-Qaeda Blackwater. In an earlier statement to the Dallas Morning News, McCaul described "communications and wire transfers" between Hasan and Pakistani sources.

Major Nidal Malik Hasan, jihadist or patsy? By Jerry Mazza 13 Nov 2009 The story as it unwinds seems too scripted to be true. That Army psychiatrist and Major Nidal M. Hasan went on a rampage at Fort Hood with two guns blazing, a .357 Magnum and a semi-automatic pistol with laser target-finder, after shouting the Arabic phrase 'Allah Akbar' (God is Greatest) as he opened fire, and will live (so far) to talk about it, though an Army-appointed lawyer says he will never get a fair trial. Hasan coincidentally received his masters in chemistry at Virginia Tech, famous for the infamous Seung-Hui Cho, the campus killer gunman credited on April 19, 2007, with the deadliest shooting rampage in modern history... See the link to Citizens for Legitimate Government on him and his 'Missing Records.'

New types of influenza found in Ukraine --Chief medical officer told about AH3N2, AH2N2, AH1N1, a large group of influenza B, and parainfluenza viruses of three types, reports proUA.com. 12 Nov 2009 Besides swine influenza, AN3N2, AN2N2 and group B have been found in the territory of Ukraine. In particular, at present at least 8 different viruses are circulating in the territory of Bukovyna. Such conclusions are made by experts of regional sanitary epidemiological stations following the results of almost 6,000 studies on the identification of acute respiratory viral infections, said the chief state sanitary doctor of the Chernivtsi Region Oleksandr Svitlichny on November 11 at the briefing.

Virginia Family Claims H1N1 Vaccine Sickened Son 13 Nov 2009 A northern Virginia family says their lives were turned upside down just 24 hours after getting their 14-year-old son received his seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines. Jordan McFarland is an avid young athlete who was unable to walk without the aid of a walker just one day after getting his flu shots. His father Calvin says doctors made a preliminary diagnosis of Guillain-Barre syndrome, a disease characterized by muscle weakness and sometimes paralysis.

Scores of O.C. teens picked up in 'scared straight' curfew sweep --About 300 officers participated in the sweep. 13 Nov 2009 Sixty-seven underage Orange County teens were rounded up in a massive countywide [Nazi] curfew sweep late Thursday in an effort by dozens of law enforcement agencies to scare the after-hours wanderers straight. The teens, who ranged in age from 13 to 17, were taken to one of three headquarters, put on jail buses to await their parents' arrival and then shown photos of young men whod been killed in after-curfew incidents.

Tenn. trooper suspended over white pride e-mail 13 Nov 2009 A Tennessee state trooper who accidentally sent an e-mail proclaiming white pride to 787 state employees has been suspended for 15 days without pay and will have to attend diversity training. The e-mail from Trooper Brent Gobbell states, in part, "You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white police officer shoots a black gang member ... you call him a racist." It also includes a list of racist epithets.

Republicans charged in $10 million scandal --Former House Speaker charged with 82 felonies 13 Nov 2009 Former House Speaker John Perzel, one of the most powerful members of the General Assembly since 1994, was charged Thursday with 82 felonies for allegedly masterminding a "sophisticated criminal strategy" to spend more than $10 million of taxpayers' money on political campaigns, Attorney General Tom Corbett said. Most of that money paid for computer technology to help Perzel, a Republican who represents a Northeast Philadelphia district, and other House Republicans win elections, a statewide grand jury concluded. Perzel is charged with theft, conspiracy, obstruction of justice and conflict of interest.

Ex-lawmaker gets 13 years in prison for bribery 13 Nov 2009 Former Democratic U.S. Representative William Jefferson, who hid $90,000 in cash in his freezer, was sentenced on Friday to 13 years in prison for bribery, racketeering and money laundering. Jefferson, who lost re-election last year in Louisiana, was accused in 2007 of soliciting millions of dollars in bribes from companies while using his office to broker business deals in Africa. He was convicted in August on 11 of 16 counts.

Palin's Book Goes Rogue on Some Facts 13 Nov 2009 Sarah Palin's new book reprises familiar claims from the 2008 presidential campaign that haven't become any truer over time. Ignoring substantial parts of her record if not the facts, she depicts herself as a frugal traveler on the taxpayer's dime, a reformer without ties to powerful interests and a politician roguishly indifferent to high ambition. Palin goes adrift, at times, on more contemporary issues, too. She criticizes President Barack Obama for pushing through a bailout package that actually was achieved by his Republican predecessor George W. Bush -- a package she seemed to support at the time.

In what could prove to be one of the biggest counterterrorism seizures in U.S. history, prosecutors filed a civil complaint in federal court against the Alavi Foundation, seeking the forfeiture of more than $500 million in assets. [Maybe other nations will return the favor and start seizing US assets, since the US is a key backer and perpetuator of international terrorism.]

KBR burned smallpox inoculations in Iraq, Afghan burn pits --Troops sue KBR over toxic waste 11 Nov 2009 Dozens of US military personnel have filed 34 lawsuits against US defense contractor KBR for allegedly incinerating toxic waste and releasing it into the atmosphere in Iraq and Afghanistan. Susan Burke, one of the lawyers bringing the suits, said they have been filed over the past year, 18 of them in recent days. One lawsuit filed in federal court in Nashville, Tennessee charged that they "ignored their contractual obligations and burned vast quantities of unsorted waste in enormous open air burn pits with no safety controls. This misconduct began in 2003 and continues unabated [thanks, Obusha!] to date," it alleges. "Every type of waste imaginable was and is burned on these pits, including trucks, tires, lithium battery, Styrofoam, paper, rubber, petroleum-oil-lubricant products, metals, hydraulic fluids, munitions boxes, medical waste, biohazard materials (including human corpses), medical supplies (including those used during smallpox inoculations), paints, solvents, asbestos insulation, items containing pesticides, polyvinyl chloride pipes, animal carcasses, dangerous chemicals and hundreds of thousands of plastic water bottles," the lawsuit claims.

US envoy warns against troop surge in Afghanistan --Memos from Eikenberry state extra troops 'not a good idea' until Karzai government tackles corruption, according to reports 12 Nov 2009 The US ambassador in Kabul has warned against plans to send tens of thousands more troops to Afghanistan, until President Hamid Karzai's government demonstrates that it is willing to tackle the corruption. Karl Eikenberry sent two classified cables to Washington in the past week expressing his concern over proposals to deploy as many as 40,000 extra troops while the Karzai government remains dogged by accusations of incompetence and corruption, according to reports from Washington. The existence of the memos was revealed as Barack Obama held a war council at the White House to discuss the final four options for deployment of extra US troops in an effort to stave off defeat at the hands of the Taliban.

Pakistan Uncovered

Pakistan has been labeled the most dangerous country in the world, (a safe haven for terrorists).  The leaders of our country are eager to invade and the mainstream media is working tirelessly to create the fear that will allow them do so. The fact that only six corporations dominate our major media outlets, its obvious that our information sources serve the interests of the controlling. For that reason, I set out on a trip to Pakistan to find out what is actually going on in that country. What I discovered shocked me.

The first stop of my trip was Islamabad, Pakistan, the nations capital. Islamabad has been victim to many suicide attacks in recent years. Thousands of people have been murdered by the hands of the terrorists, aka Blackwater. Blackwater has been confirmed by former CIA officials to having over 3,000 operatives present throughout the country. Pakistans International News reported on the increasing suspicious movement of foreigners in Peshawar, Pakistan. A local resident stated, What we have been hearing about the presence of Blackwater or other suspicious foreigners in Peshawar and Pakistan is alarming. Investigative Journalist, Wayne Madsen, in a Russia Today interview stated, Ive been told by private military contract sources that a former British SAS officer is basically putting ads in local newspapers in Pakistan looking to rent compounds for this influx of private military contractors. Madsen also talked about how three former Pakistani generals have been giving speeches, stating that private military contractors are present in Islamabad and Peshawar.

We all know about the ruthless killings of countless innocent civilians Blackwater is responsible for in Iraq and Afghanistan. These murderers are loyal to nothing but a paycheck, and their presence in Pakistan has angered many. I set out to find where I can find these mercenaries, and what their agenda is in Pakistan. By talking to different independent media outlets I was able to locate the area which has been allotted to Blackwater mercenaries in Islamabad (In case youre wondering, they stay in the F-7 region.) Now its not easy getting close to the area because security is extremely tight. Driving by was about as close as I could get.

However, talking to different people about Blackwater and their agenda opened a lot of doors for me. The US cant invade Pakistan without a reason. Blackwater USA has been contracted to destabilize the country and pave a reason to invade. Along with Blackwater, intelligence agencies CIA, Mossad, and Raw have been reported to be working in Pakistan as well. Now youre probably questioning, how would Blackwater and these agencies destabilize Pakistan? Well they are playing with the terror card, like they did in Iraq and Afghanistan. Who is really behind these suicide bombings that occur on a daily basis in Pakistan? In order to answer this, lets look at the facts.

On September 20, 2008 a dump truck filled with explosives detonated in front of the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad, killing 54 and wounding 266. The media fed us the usual terrorist attack story, like they did on 9/11. But according to a report by Tariq But of the Saudi Gazette, witnesses said that Marines unloaded a US embassy truckload of steel boxes and shifted them inside the Marriott Hotel on Wednesday, three days before the bombing. It was a high-security operation carried out with both the main gates of the hotel closed. Only the US Marines could approach the truck to unload the steel boxes and shift them inside the hotel. Hotel sources said the boxes were not passed through the scanners installed at the entrance of the lobby and were shifted to the fourth and fifth floors of the Marriott. Incidents like the Marriott Hotel bombing occur on a daily basis in Pakistan. Circumstantial evidence proves the fact that Blackwater and other intelligence agencies are heavily involved in these bombings, and are using them to destabilize the country and create a scare by pointing the blame to the so called extremists. Recently, Peshawar was victim to a devastating bomb blast in which 117 innocent Pakistanis were killed. Local news agency NNI has reported that Hakimullah Mehsud, the Chief of the Pakistani- Pashtun Movement in Pakistan, has blamed Blackwater for the bomb blast. Mehsud claimed that Blackwater and Pakistani agencies are involved in attacks in public places to [maliciously] blame the militants.

Blackwater and other intelligence agencies are playing their cards differently throughout the country. In some parts, including Islamabad, they created a war between the militants and the government. In others, however, we see a war between Shiites and Sunnis. This topic takes me to my next stop, Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan. This city has seen more bomb blasts than any other city in the country. Over 4,000 people have been killed in the last few years. As I entered the city I was in complete shock from what I saw. What was once a peaceful, growing city was now a chaotic police state. The military roamed the streets fully armed with machine guns and tanks. Soldiers with AK-47s were stationed on every corner of the city. All schools and universities were shut down, and we were living under a curfew. I had to watch my back 24/7 with the worry that a bomb could explode, or someone, out of nowhere, would start shooting innocent people.

Most days, while reporting, people would tell me to go home and stay safe; there has been a bomb threat. I could sense the tension between the Sunnis and the Shiites everywhere I went. Many sources told me that a war was created between the two sects. What confused me was that Sunnis and Shiites have lived in Pakistan for decades, and have never fought like this. Why have they begun to kill each other now? I spoke with Sunni and Shiite leaders, and both agreed that a third party is involved.

Immediately, I thought of Blackwaters involvement in the Sunni/Shiite war in Iraq. I then spoke with local media outlets and party leaders about Blackwater, and like I had predicted, they confirmed their presence. Blackwater is out there buying and recruiting terrorists. According to locals I spoke with, Blackwater is recruiting by offering money to poverty stricken individuals for carrying out missions. These recruits are completely blind to what they will commit. For example, a paid recruit could be assigned to deliver a package, that package would then automatically detonate along the way, successfully completing the mission. I spoke with former members of the Taliban, and they said, These bomb blasts are not the work of Muslims willingly killing themselves along with hundreds of brothers, sisters, and children. Pakistan has been stained with bloodshed by the hands of Blackwater, Mossad, CIA, and Raw.

The reason we have not heard much about Blackwater in Pakistan, is because journalists in the country are being silenced for speaking out. A recent example of this is that of Dr. Shireen Mazari, a respected journalist for The News and a defense analyst. Two months back, Dr. Mazaris weekly column was censored when she exposed the presence of Blackwater mercenaries in Pakistan.  According to Crescent Online, US Ambassador to Pakistan, Anne Patterson, accused Dr. Mazari of spreading wildly incorrect information that had compromised the security of Americans. I spoke with a journalist (for security purposes, he wished to remain anonymous) in Islamabad, Pakistan, about why journalists are being silenced. He said, Saying the word Blackwater is a crime for journalists, there is no code of conduct, theyll either kill you or your family, its that simple. He told me how Blackwater has supreme authority in Pakistan, because of the corrupt government.

he so called democratic government of Pakistan has been sold to the interests of the New World Order. There is no law or order coming from Islamabad. The politicians, the media, and the military officials are puppets being pulled by President Obama and his handlers.

President Obama once said, I have great respect for the Pakistani people. Murdering over 800 reported innocent Pakistani men, women, and children Mr. President is not respect. The media jumped all over the fact that we successfully killed leading Taliban militant, Baitullah Mehsud, but barely touched on the hundreds murdered along the way.  D.I. Khan is now home to many of the surviving refugees from Waziristan. I had the opportunity to speak with these individuals about their situation and feelings towards this heinous crime. Hamid Abdullah, a refugee barely surviving, lost his wife and children in the attacks. In his native tongue, Pashto, he said, America has been ruthless to us, they have killed our families and we have nothing left, but our faith in Allah. Obama believes his plan will succeed, however, in the words of the Holy Quran, Although they plan, Allah also plans.

And Allah is the Best of Planners. Abdullah and others currently live in refugee camps whose conditions are the worst of the worst.

What is the real reason behind this agenda to deteriorate Pakistan? In order to put the puzzle pieces together, lets start by looking at what the media and our leaders are feeding us. To start off, PNAC signer, Richard Holbrooke, has urged the absolute necessity for passing the Kerry-Lugar bill, the 5 year $1.5 billion aid package given to Pakistan to help fight the so called war on terror. Furthermore, an article from the Huffington Post, reports that advisors to President Obamas administration say their worst security nightmare is the possibility that Pakistan a nuclear-armed country might fall under the control of Al-Qaeda militants. Lastly, PNAC contributor Henry Sokolski, in an article, implies that Pakistani-Chinese relations pose a threat to the world, and that something must be done to suppress it. Further investigating these assumptions reveals a far larger picture from what they are showing us.

The Kerry-Lugar bill drafted by Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman John Kerry and ranking Republican Richard Lugar, authorizes a grant of $1.5 billion annually for 5 years. The bill explicitly and falsely states that Pakistan has been a nuclear proliferator; and that parts of its territories are safe havens for terrorist networks. The bill gives President Obama the power to develop a comprehensive interagency regional security strategy to eliminate terrorist threats and close safe havens in Pakistan, by working with the government of Pakistan to best implement effective counterinsurgency and counterterrorism efforts in and near the border areas of Pakistan and Afghanistan, including the FATA, the NWFP, parts of Balochistan and parts of Punjab. In other words, the President of the United States power has now been extended to the different provinces of Pakistan. He may now make decisions for not only the US, but also for the sovereign state of Pakistan. The Kerry-Lugar bill will successfully end Pakistans sovereignty. The people are very angered by it, in fact it is known in Pakistan as the document of surrender.

Pakistan is one of the few sovereign nations with nuclear power and it has been increasingly evident that the globalists wish to suppress it. The media has created this false scare among the American public that the so called terrorists are living freely in Pakistan, and they will overthrow the deteriorating government and establish Pakistan as a state sponsor of terrorism. So therefore, America must invade Pakistan, and stabilize the situation, before the terrorists get their hands on the nuclear weapons. An example of this would be Fredrick W. Kagens article for the New York Times, he writes, As the government of Pakistan totters, we must face a fact: The United States simply could not stand by as a nuclear-armed Pakistan descended into the abyss. The fact of the matter is, Pakistan is suffering the effects of a U.S. led war. Why invade a sovereign country that has neither threatened nor attacked the United States?

The next threat to the agenda for the New World Order lies behind the growth of Pakistani and Chinese relations. In order for China to sustain its status as the emerging economic superpower, it must take all the necessary steps required in order to have sufficient energy resources for the near future. According to Pakistani think tank, BrassTacks, Chinese interests in the Indian Ocean became visible in 2002, when they invested heavily and began work on the Gwadar Port, located in Baluchestan, a province of Pakistan. The Gwadar Port has its benefits for both Pakistan and China. According to Abdus Sattar Ghazali, executive editor for American Muslim Perspective, The cost benefits to China of using Gwadar as the port for western Chinas imports and exports are as evident as the long-term economic benefits to Pakistan of Gwadar becoming a port for Chinese goods. Not only does Gwadar enable China to fulfill its energy needs, but it will also provide a strategic military footprint in the Arabian Sea, which has the United States worried.

In order to halt this, the globalists need to block Chinas access to the Arabian Sea by way of Gwadar. According to BrassTacks, to do this, there needs to be a new Pakistan as indicated in Operation Enduring Turmoil. Operation Enduring Turmoil is PNACs plan to disassemble Pakistan into three parts. According to a game plan drawn out by Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, in a 2006 article of the Armed Forces Journal, Pakistans Northwest Frontier tribes would be reunited with their Afghan brethren [and] would also lose its Baluch territory to Free Baluchistan. The remaining natural Pakistan would lie entirely east of the Indus, except for a westward spur near Karachi. With this done, what was once the NWFP, a province of Pakistan, is now part of Afghanistan, and what was once Baluchistan, a province of Pakistan, is now its own state, Free Baluchistan. This would force China to impossibly go through Afghanistan and Free Baluchistan in order to reach the Arabian Sea. Such an arrangement would cut Chinas route to the Arabian Sea. See the map below for a detailed summary of the plan.

Pakistan has become a product of the New World Order. The agenda has been outlined, and is in effect as we speak. The country has been invaded from all ends and the people have been silenced. My trip to Pakistan answered so many questions I had about the region. Seeing the destruction of Pakistan with my own eyes really blew me away. I realize that after Pakistan, they will move along to another region and continue their plan for a New World Order. What we see happen in these countries will very well happen here in America, some of which we have already seen. The destruction of these countries are not only accomplishing an agenda, but are also being used as testing grounds. We need to get out there and expose the New World Order agenda before it is too late. I hope my report answered questions that you might have had, and gave you a broader scope on what is actually going on in Pakistan. Keep fighting the New World Order and may god be with us all.

On December 18, 2008, Bush IT expert Mike Connell, a highly skilled pilot, was killed in a sudden crash while flying his small aircraft from Washington DC to his Akron/Canton home airport. The cause of the crash is still unknown and under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board.

For more than ten months, Connell's family has been coping with feelings of disbelief, anger and confusion and has many unanswered questions about the man they knew and loved.

For Connell's widow Heather, holding her husband's New Media consulting firm together is a daily struggle.

"The more I learn about the crash the more sick it makes me - the destruction of the plane. I found a pack of the I-pod ear buds in a tree. I'm obsessed with the Blackberry. I don't have the Blackberry. I have his backpack. I have his paperwork, his schedule. None of his paperwork is burned up. One of his prayer books burned on the outside. I think there was a lot thrown from the plane."

Although mainly un-reported, there's a great deal of controversy surrounding Connell's death - largely in part because he was the architect of many Republican websites including GeorgeWBush.com and GWB43.com, the site Karl Rove used for 95% of his email correspondence. Connell was also considered a key witness in the election fraud lawsuit King Lincoln Bronzeville Neighborhood Association v. Blackwell. The suit implicates Former Ohio Secretary of State Kenneth J. Blackwell, Karl Rove and others of 2004 election night vote rigging.

Attorneys in the case believe that Connell, who had not been accused of any wrongdoing, had firsthand knowledge about the missing White House emails and Rove's alleged wrongdoing with respect to the 2004 Presidential election.

His wife, and those attorneys, are not the only ones still focused on questions about what actually happened to Mike Connell nearly one year ago, and in the years prior...

'Way too convenient'

Connell, 45, was the oldest of six children. His sister Shannon Connell describes her family as very close, despite differing political opinions.

"Even though we had different political beliefs, there's always been a close tie among siblings. In fact, my parents were Kennedy Democrats. But then after Kennedy, they started voting more for Republicans and I would say that in our family we range from progressive to conservative and Mike and one of my other siblings are staunch Republicans."

Although her brother never spoke of his work, Shannon believes that Mike's ties to the Bush Administration and the GOP are somehow related to his death.

"It just seems way too convenient, the timing since he had been deposed. He didn't get to testify. But I don't think he would've perjured himself. When it comes down to it, he was basically an honest person. If push came to shove and he was under oath testifying, I believe that he would've told the truth. I think that there were other people who believed that as well."

Connell's wife Heather acknowledges he received threats in the months leading up to his death. But says she was unaware Connell was told not to fly.

"I have spent days and days and days trying to figure it all out. I don't think he would lie to me. Number one, I don't think he took the threats seriously. I never heard 'Don't fly.' I never knew my husband as Bush's IT guru. He built lots of Republican websites... He built Jeb's site, George's site, George's 2nd site --- his campaign sites. I don't know what involvement he had with SmartTech. That I don't know. I just knew what sites he built. SmartTech was the big hosting center. Everything was hosted at SmartTech. That's where the access would be --- not at New Media. I was signing lots of checks for hosting fees, huge payments to SmartTech for hosting websites that New Media built."

The King-Lincoln lawsuit maintains the results of the 2004 election were routed through SmartTech servers in Chattanooga, Tennessee on Election Night before being rerouted back to Ohio's then-Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell, an Evangelical Christian and former Co-Chair of the Bush/Cheney Ohio Campaign. Blackwell's office claims this transfer was necessary due to a tabulation server overload at State election headquarters in Columbus that night. Connell's other company, GovTech was hired by the State of Ohio to build election night servers and GovTech subcontracted work to SmarTech.

'Railroaded'

Connell's links to the Bush Administration went beyond his work at New Media and GovTech. He was the former college roommate of Barry Jackson, Karl Rove's top deputy and former head of the White House Office of Strategic Initiatives. During the time Jackson held that position, he was responsible for forging the long-term goals of the Administration and the GOP. Jackson was also one of the White House employees found using GeorgeWBush.com to email a former aide to lobbyist Jack Abramoff about nominating one of Abramoff's Indian tribe clients for a Medal of Freedom.

Shannon says Jackson and her brother were very close friends. "Barry was a really good friend to Mike. I personally didn't get along with him. Just kind of a clash of personalities, I guess. I think it was because I am a feminist. I didn't think he treated women as equals. But he's been really supportive with Mike's kids and he was at the memorial for the whole time in Ohio."

Despite allegations and revelations about her husband's ties to the Administration, Heather says Connell's not the man people say he is.

"He surely wasn't a Forrest Gump. Maybe I am naive. But they railroaded him in pulling him to testify. But I think my husband would tell the truth in court. Whether you liked it or not, my husband didn't lie. I think it's one of the reasons people went to him. He was known to be a person of integrity. He was a trusted person. But to my knowledge he was never going to testify. Point blank. He felt like those bloggers were just taking pot shots, you know, politics is a dirty game. The fact they deposed him [the day] before the [2008 Presidential] election --- give me a break. It's almost like a dirty political strategy. There's nothing he could really tell except answer 'yes, they were my client.' He was angry that the judge allowed them to call him in the day before the election when he should be doing his job. He was like, 'this is just stupid.' He was stressed out."

More tips...

Recently, the Connell family has been dealt another blow --- an anonymous memo penned by someone identifying themselves as "Mark Felt" (the name of the man who was ultimately revealed to be "Deep Throat"), cataloguing an order and mission to remotely intercept and rig the instrument panel of Mike Connell's plane then "sanitize" the area.

Heather confirms receipt of this memo, which was cc'd to six unknown recipients.

Those close to the case believe the person behind the memo is a real informant with inside knowledge about Connell's plane crash. There are a number of Intelligence officials looking into it, including the FBI. The FBI field agent in charge of the case, Jack Vickery, did not return my calls. But Cliff Arnebeck, the prosecuting attorney in the case and the one who deposed Mike Connell last November, issued the following statement:

We received copies of the "deep throat" letter and redacted report of a jackal that "is not supposed to exist." We passed on to the FBI this and other information we have relevant to the matter. Our impression is that the FBI is doing its job of investigating specific allegations regarding the assassination of a vital witness in our federal election fraud case.

The "Jackal" that Arnebeck refers to is a hired assassin. Former CIA operative John Perkins wrote about such "jackals" in his book, Confessions of an Economic HitMan, and says while he doesn't have any inside knowledge about Connell's death, he would not be surprised if he was murdered.

"It wouldn't surprise me a bit. They've certainly assassinated a lot of people in this country. The Kennedys were assassinated. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated. It's entirely possible that Paul Wellstone was assassinated. We've had a long, long history of assassinations. It's extremely successful in terms of turning politics around and getting people off cases. In a way, Bill Clinton was assassinated but it was a personality assassination. The Connell case is just one more possibility."

Perkins adds, plane crashes have always been a weapon of choice among Jackals. "It' so easy to cover it up. The evidence is destroyed and everybody knows airplanes are fragile anyway, small airplanes in particular. So it's a very clean type of assassination in terms of ways to do it because the area where the plane crash happens can be quickly cordoned off...and the evidence can be cleaned up very quickly and most of it is destroyed anyway. But if there's anything left, it can be disposed of very, very quickly."

Eyewitness video footage
from night of crash.

Connell's sister Shannon says the memo confirms her suspicions of foul play. "If there was foul play that's what makes sense. Mike was a threat to somebody. I'm pretty cynical about government but for lack of a better word I think the Bushes and their cronies are a bit evil but Mike was loyal to them."

Heather remains unconvinced and says she will not make any conclusions until she receives the NTSB report, expected before year's end. "All this scares the hell out of me. I don't know. I don't think I'll ever know. Did something happen with his plane? I've scoured through every possible thing."

Conspiracy theories aside, Perkins says the U.S. government has historically used assassination jackals abroad and says it should come as no surprise that they are contracted domestically. "The U.S. President hires Blackwater to do that sort of work for the U.S. government so why wouldn't they do it for themselves particularly if they needed it? If you're a plumber and you fix everybody else's plumbing and your sink breaks, you're probably going to fix yours too."

Heather states if there is an informant, she wants to know who that person is. She also says she'd like the "trusted friend who told Mike not to fly" to come forward.

Shannon says if there were proof of foul play, she believes her family would file a wrongful death suit against Karl Rove. But she says she's not sure her family will ever know what really happened that day in December.

"I think Mike got caught up in some other people's lives and didn't know how to get out or was trying to get out. You know, I'm real cynical about whether justice will be done. A lot of the government officials probably have gotten away with a lot of things. My position now is what's going to make this different? What's different with my brother's death that's any different than Paul Wellstone's?"

MSNBC Reporter Pushed Out In '03 For Criticizing War Coverage Hired By ABC

Ashleigh Banfield

Ashleigh Banfield will be joining ABC News next year, TVNewser reported Friday.

Banfield rose to prominence on MSNBC during the early 2000s, but was cast aside after speaking out against the coverage of the Iraq War. She has been an anchor on Court TV/truTV since 2005, but Friday is her last day with the network.

ABC News did not confirm the report, telling TVNewser simply, "We like Ashleigh Banfield and admire her work."

Banfield's breakup with NBC News, where she was a rising star war correspondent and primetime anchor on MSNBC, was bitter. After a speech in which she was seen as criticizing NBC's coverage of the war, she was publicly rebuked by NBC News executives and ostracized at the office, as she explained to a Connecticut magazine earlier this year:

"I was office-less for ten months....No phone, no computer. For ten months I had to report to work every day and ask where I could sit. If somebody was away I could use their desk. Eventually, after ten months of this, I was given an office that was a tape closet. They cleared the tapes out and put a desk and a TV in there, and a computer and phone. It was pretty blatant. The message was crystal clear. Yet they wouldn't let me leave. I begged for seventeen months to be let out of my contract. If they had no use for me, let's just part ways amicably -- no need for payouts, just a clean break. And Neal wouldn't allow it. I don't know what his rationale was -- perhaps he thought I would take what I felt was a very strong brand, and others felt was a very strong brand, to another network and make a success of it. Maybe that's why he chose to keep me in a warehouse. I will never forgive him for his cruelty and the manner in which he decided to dispose of me."

In her controversial speech, delivered at Kansas State in April 2003, Banfield argued that the coverage of the Iraq War left out much of the harsh realities of war and was more "coverage" than "journalism":

What didn't you see? You didn't see where those bullets landed. You didn't see what happened when the mortar landed. A puff of smoke is not what a mortar looks like when it explodes, believe me. There are horrors that were completely left out of this war. So was this journalism or was this coverage-? There is a grand difference between journalism and coverage, and getting access does not mean you're getting the story, it just means you're getting one more arm or leg of the story. And that's what we got, and it was a glorious, wonderful picture that had a lot of people watching and a lot of advertisers excited about cable news. But it wasn't journalism, because I'm not so sure that we in America are hesitant to do this again, to fight another war, because it looked like a glorious and courageous and so successful terrific endeavor, and we got rid oaf horrible leader: We got rid of a dictator, we got rid of a monster, but we didn't see what it took to do that.

She also spoke about the "Fox News effect":

There is another whole phenomenon that's come about from this war. Many talk about it as the Fox effect, the Fox news effect. I know everyone of you has watched it. It's not a dirty little secret. A lot of people describe Fox as having streamers and banners coming out of the television as you're watching it cover a war. But the Fox effect is very concerning to me.

I'm a journalist and I like to be able to tell the story as I see it, and I hate it when someone tells me I'm one-sided. It's the worst I can hear. Fox has taken so many viewers away from CNN and MSNBC because of their agenda and because of their targeting the market of cable news viewership, that I'm afraid there's not a really big place in cable for news. Cable is for entertainment, as it's turning out, but not news.

I'm hoping that I will have a future in news in cable, but not the way some cable news operators wrap themselves in the American flag and patriotism and go after a certain target demographic, which is very lucrative. You can already see the effects, you can already see the big hires on other networks, right wing hires to chase after this effect, and you can already see that flag waving in the corners of those cable news stations where they have exciting American music to go along with their war coverage.

Read her whole lecture here.

Ashleigh Banfield eviscerated from the corporate controlled MSM for telling the truth about Bush/Cheney's "war on terror"
Shortly after the invasion of Iraq --- even before Codpiece Day --- Banfield delivered a speech that destroyed her career. She was instantly demoted by MSNBC and fired less than a year later.

In April 2003, in a speech at Kansas State University, Banfield raised concerns regarding media coverage of the conflict in Iraq. She also blasted "cable news operators who wrap themselves in the American flag and go after a certain target demographic", specifically naming Fox News Channel as an example.[3] According to a New York Times article, her speech angered NBC management who rebuked her and lowered her profile. She was fired in 2004.[1]

In Tora Bora, Afghanistan. December 2001.

On 9/11 those of us who were lucky enough not to be in Manhattan sat glued to our television sets and watched a star being born. Here's how the Wikipedia described it:

On September 11, 2001, Ashleigh Banfield was reporting from the streets of Manhattan, where she was nearly suffocated from the debris cloud from the collapsing World Trade Center. Banfield continued reporting, even as she rescued a NYPD officer, and with him, fled to safety into a streetside shop. After the initial reporting of the tragedy had ended, Banfield received a promotion, as MSNBC sent her around the world as the producer of a new program, A Region in Conflict.

A Region in Conflict was broadcast mainly from Pakistan and Afghanistan, generally considered locations unfriendly to Westerners. To report day-to-day local stories in that area of the world, she sometimes used her Canadian citizenship to provide access where Americans might not be welcome. She would read viewer e-mails on-air, sometimes without reviewing them beforehand, to avoid bias.

During the conflict in Afghanistan, Banfield interviewed Taliban prisoners, and visited a hospital in Kabul. Later entries covered her travels from Jalalabad to Kabul, as well as other experiences in Afghanistan. In Pakistan, she interviewed Father Gregory Rice, a Catholic priest in Pakistan, and an Iraqi woman aiding refugees. While in Afghanistan, Banfield darkened her blonde hair in order to be less obviously a foreigner.

I made terrible fun of Banfield. She seemed to me to be the personification of the infotainment industrial complex, a reporter better known for her stylish spectacles and blond highlights than her journalistic skills. She was their girl hero, a Jessica Lynch of TV news, constructed out of whole cloth in the marketing department of MSNBC. But I was wrong about her. It's true that she was a cable news star who was created out of the rubble of 9/11, but her reporting that day really was pretty riveting. Her stories from Afghanistan were often shallow, but no more than any of the other blow dried hunks they dispatched over there, and they were sometimes better. Still, she symbolized for me the media exploitation of 9/11 and the War on Terror Show and I was unforgiving.

But very shortly after the invasion of Iraq --- even before Codpiece Day --- Banfield delivered a speech that destroyed her career. She was instantly demoted by MSNBC and fired less than a year later.

Do you remember what she said?

Ashleigh Banfield Landon Lecture
Kansas State University
Manhattan, Kansas
April 24, 2003

...I suppose you watch enough television to know that the big TV show is over and that the war is now over essentially -- the major combat operations are over anyway, according to the Pentagon and defense officials -- but there is so much that is left behind. And I'm not just talking about the most important thing, which is, of course, the leadership of a Middle Eastern country that could possibly become an enormous foothold for American and foreign interests. But also what Americans find themselves deciding upon when it comes to news, and when it comes to coverage, and when it comes to war, and when it comes to what's appropriate and what's not appropriate any longer.

I think we all were very excited about the beginnings of this conflict in terms of what we could see for the first time on television. The embedded process, which I'll get into a little bit more in a few moments, was something that we've never experienced before, neither as reporters nor as viewers. The kinds of pictures that we were able to see from the front lines in real time on a video phone, and sometimes by a real satellite link-up, was something we'd never seen before and were witness to for the first time.

And there are all sorts of good things that come from that, and there are all sorts of terrible things that come from that. The good things are the obvious. This is one more perspective that we all got when it comes to warfare, how it's fought and how tough these soldiers are, what the conditions are like and what it really looks like when they're firing those M-16s rapidly across a river, or across a bridge, or into a building.

[...]

So for that element alone it was a wonderful new arm of access that journalists got to warfare. Perhaps not that new, because we all knew what it looked like at Vietnam and what a disaster that was for the government, but this did put us in a very, very close line of sight to the unfolding disasters.

That said, what didn't you see?

I can't tell you how bad the civilian casualties were. I saw a couple of pictures. I saw French television pictures, I saw a few things here and there, but to truly understand what war is all about you've got to be on both sides. You've got to be a unilateral, someone who's able to cover from outside of both front lines, which, by the way, is the most dangerous way to cover a war, which is the way most of us covered Afghanistan. There were no front lines, they were all over the place. They were caves, they were mountains, they were cobbled, they were everything. But we really don't know from this latest adventure from the American military what this thing looked like and why perhaps we should never do it again. The other thing is that so many voices were silent in this war. We all know what happened to Susan Sarandon for speaking out, and her husband, and we all know that this is not the way Americans truly want to be. Free speech is a wonderful thing, it's what we fight for, but the minute it's unpalatable we fight against it for some reason.

That just seems to be a trend of late, and l am worried that it may be a reflection of what the news was and how the news coverage was coming across. This was a success, it was a charge it took only three weeks. We did wonderful things and we freed the Iraqi people, many of them by the way, who are quite thankless about this. There's got to be a reason for that. And the reason for it is because we don't have a very good image right now overseas, and a lot of Americans aren't quite sure why, given the fact that we sacrificed over a hundred soldiers to give them freedom.

[...]

All they know is that we're crusaders. All they know is that we're imperialists. All they know is that we want their oil. They don't know otherwise. And I'll tell you, a lot of the people I spoke with in Afghanistan had never heard of the Twin Towers and most of them couldn't recognize a picture of George Bush.

[...]

That will be a very interesting story to follow in the coming weeks and months, as to how this vacuum is filled and how we go about presenting a democracy to these people when -- if we give them democracy they probably will ask us to get out, which is exactly what many of them want.

[...]

As a journalist I'm often ostracized just for saying these messages, just for going on television and saying, "Here's what the leaders of Hezbullah are telling me and here's what the Lebanese are telling me and here's what the Syrians have said about Hezbullah. Here's what they have to say about the Golan Heights." Like it or lump it, don't shoot the messenger, but invariably the messenger gets shot.

We hired somebody on MSNBC recently named Michael Savage. Some of you may know his name already from his radio program. He was so taken aback by my dare to speak with Al -Aqsa Martyrs Brigade about why they do what they do, why they're prepared to sacrifice themselves for what they call a freedom fight and we call terrorism. He was so taken aback that he chose to label me as a slut on the air. And that's not all, as a porn star. And that's not all, as an accomplice to the murder of Jewish children. So these are the ramifications for simply being the messenger in the Arab world.

How can you discuss, how can you solve anything when attacks from a mere radio flak is what America hears on a regular basis, let alone at the government level? I mean, if this kind of attitude is prevailing, forget discussion, forget diplomacy, diplomacy is becoming a bad word.

[..]

When I said the war was over I kind of mean that in the sense that cards are being pulled from this famous deck now of the 55 most wanted, and they're sort of falling out of the deck as quickly as the numbers are falling off the rating chart for the cable news stations. We have plummeted into the basement in the last week. We went from millions of viewers to just a few hundred thousand in the course of a couple of days.

Did our broadcasting change? Did we get boring? Did we all a sudden lose our flair? Did we start using language that people didn't want to hear? No, I think you've just had enough. I think you've seen the story, you've' seen how it ended, it ended pretty well in most American's view; it's time to move on.

What's the next big story? Is it Laci Peterson? Because Laci Peterson got a whole lot more minutes' worth of coverage on the cable news channels in the last week than we'd have ever expected just a few days after a regime fell, like Saddam Hussein.

I don't want to suggest for a minute that we are shallow people, we Americans. At times we are, but I do think that the phenomenon of our attention deficit disorder when it comes to watching television news and watching stories and then just being finished with them, I think it might come from the saturation that you have nowadays. You cannot walk by an airport monitor, you can't walk by most televisions in offices these days, in the public, without it being on a cable news channel. And if you're not in front of a TV you're probably in front of your monitor, where there is Internet news available as well.

You have had more minutes of news on the Iraq war in just the three-week campaign than you likely ever got in the years and years of network news coverage of Vietnam. You were forced to wait for it till six o'clock every night and the likelihood that you got more than about eight minutes of coverage in that half hour show, you probably didn't get a whole lot more than that, and it was about two weeks old, some of that footage, having been shipped back. Now it's real time and it is blanketed to the extent that we could see this one arm of the advance, but not where the bullets landed.

But I think the saturation point is reached faster because you just get so much so fast, so absolutely in real time that it is time to move on. And that makes our job very difficult, because we tend to leave behind these vacuums that are left uncovered. When was the last time you saw a story about Afghanistan? It's only been a year, you know. Only since the major combat ended, you were still in Operation Anaconda in not much more than 11 or 12 months ago, and here we are not touching Afghanistan at all on cable news.

There was just a memorandum that came through saying we're closing the Kabul bureau. The Kabul bureau has only been staffed by one person for the last several months, Maria Fasal, she's Afghan and she wanted to be there, otherwise I don't think anyone would have taken that assignment. There's just been no allotment of TV minutes for Afghanistan.

And I am very concerned that the same thing is about to happen with Iraq, because we're going to have another Gary Condit, and we're going to have another Chandra Levy and we're going to have another Jon Benet, and we're going to have another Elizabeth Smart, and here we are in Laci Peterson, and these stories will dominate. They're easy to cover, they're cheap, they're fast, you don't have to send somebody overseas, you don't have to put them up in a hotel that's expensive overseas, and you don't have to set up satellite time overseas. Very cheap to cover domestic news. Domestic news is music news to directors' ears.

But is that what you need to know? Don't you need to know what our personality is overseas and what the ramifications of these campaigns are? Because we went to Iraq, according to the President, to make sure that we were going to be safe from weapons of mass destruction, that no one would attack us. Well, did everything all of a sudden change? The terror alert went down. All of a sudden everything seems to be better, but I can tell you from living over there, it's not.

[...]

There was a reporter in the New York Times a couple days ago at the Pentagon. It was a report on the ground in Iraq that the Americans were going to have four bases that they would continue to use possibly on a permanent basis inside Iraq, kind of in a star formation, the north, the south, Baghdad and out west. Nobody was able to actually say what these bases would be used for, whether it was forward operations, whether it was simple access, but it did speak volumes to the Arab world who said, "You see, we told you the Americans were coming for their imperialistic need. They needed a foothold, they needed to control something in central and west Asia to make sure that we all next door come into line."

And these reports about Syria, well, they may have been breezed over fairly quickly here, but they are ringing loud still over there. Syria's next. And then Lebanon. And look out lran.

So whether we think it's plausible or whether the government even has any designs like that, the Arabs all think it's happening and they think it's for religious purposes for the most part.

[...]

I think there were a lot of dissenting voices before this war about the horrors of war, but I'm very concerned about this three-week TV show and how it may have changed people's opinions. It was very sanitized.

It had a very brief respite from the sanitation when Terry Lloyd was killed, the ITN, and when David Bloom was killed and when Michael Kelley was killed. We all sort of sat back for a moment and realized, "God, this is ugly. This is hitting us at home now. This is hitting the noncombatants." But that went away quickly too.

This TV show that we just gave you was extraordinarily entertaining, and I really hope that the legacy that it leaves behind is not one that shows war as glorious, because there's nothing more dangerous than a democracy that thinks this is a glorious thing to do.

War is ugly and it's dangerous, and in this world the way we are discussed on the Arab street, it feeds and fuels their hatred and their desire to kill themselves to take out Americans. It's a dangerous thing to propagate.

[...]

You can already see the effects, you can already see the big hires on other networks, right wing hires to chase after this effect, and you can already see that flag waving in the corners of those cable news stations where they have exciting American music to go along with their war coverage.

Well, all of this has to do with what you've seen on Fox and its successes. So I do urge you to be very discerning as you continue to watch the development of cable news, and it is changing like lightning. Be very discerning because it behooves you like it never did before to watch with a grain of salt and to choose responsibly, and to demand what you should know.

That's it. I know that there's probably a couple questions. No one's allowed to ask about my hair color, okay? I'm kidding, if you want to ask you can. It's a pretty boring story. But I just wanted to say thank you, and let's all pray and hope in any way that you pray or hope for peace and for democracy around the world, and for more rain this summer in Manhattan. Thank you all.

She may have been hoping for a future in able news, but you can't help but feel she knew she wouldn't after delivering those remarks. (Read the whole thing at the link if you're interested in a further scathing critique of the government.)

Perhaps someone with more stature than Banfield could have gotten away with that speech and maybe it might have even been taken seriously, who knows? But the object lesson could not have been missed by any of the ambitious up and comers in the news business. If a TV journalist publicly spoke the truth anywhere about war, the news, even their competitors --- and Banfield spoke the truth in that speech --- their career was dead in the water. Even the girl hero of 9/11 (maybe especially the girl hero of 9/11) could not get away with breaking the CW code of omerta and she had to pay.

She's now a co-anchor on a Court TV show.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed pictured upon capture in Pakistan in March 2003 (left) and more recently at Guantanamo Bay (right)
A new photo of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed recently surfaced

Alleged 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is to be sent from Guantanamo Bay to New York for trial in a civilian court, the US has confirmed.

Attorney General Eric Holder said he would be transferred from the US prison camp in Cuba with four other suspects.

Mr Mohammed has admitted planning the 9/11 attacks, the US military says.

The move is part of US President Barack Obama's effort to close Guantanamo, but some relatives of 9/11 victims say they oppose a federal court trial.

Responsibility for the case will go to the Southern District of New York, with proceedings taking place near Ground Zero.

The five men have until now been facing prosecution at US military commissions in Guantanamo. The government had faced a 16 November deadline to decide how to proceed in their cases.

Speaking in Tokyo ahead of Mr Holder's announcement, Mr Obama said Khalid Sheikh Mohammed would face "most exacting demands of justice".

Deadline looming

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has been described by US investigators as "one of history's most infamous terrorists".

They say he has admitted being responsible "from A to Z" for the 9/11 attacks.

Paul Reynolds
Paul Reynolds, BBC World Affairs correspondent
The decision is a major step towards Mr Obama's target of closing Guantanamo Bay a year after he took office. However, it will not solve all the remaining problems.

The most difficult is what to do with an estimated 70 prisoners against whom there is not enough useable evidence for either a military or a civilian trial yet whose release is regarded as too dangerous. Other prisoners might also face civilian trial or military commissions, so Mr Obama appears unlikely to decide that a civilian court should be the only place where suspects will face justice.

It remains to be seen whether the federal court will accept any alleged confession by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed as it might have been based on water-boarding, or whether, in a courtroom very close to Ground Zero, he will seek to glory in the attacks.

Believed to be the number three al-Qaeda leader, he was captured in Pakistan in March 2003.

He told a pre-trial hearing at Guantanamo in December 2008 that he wanted to plead guilty to all charges against him.

But intelligence memos released earlier this year revealed he had been subjected to harsh interrogation techniques including water-boarding on multiple occasions since his capture - potentially rendering some evidence inadmissible.

The other four men - the two Yemenis, a Saudi and a Pakistani-born Kuwaiti who have shared hearings with him at Guantanamo Bay - are also accused of helping plan and finance the attacks.

The decision to try them in a New York court appears to be part of Mr Obama's efforts to close Guantanamo by 22 January 2010.

His administration says it will try some detainees in US courts and repatriate or resettle others who are not perceived as a threat.

However, questions remain over the fate of those assessed as dangerous but who for legal reasons could not be prosecuted in a US court - prompting suggestions that the deadline will slip.

And, says the BBC's Jonathan Beale, some families of those who died in the 9/11 attacks have already voiced strong opposition to any attempt to try their alleged architect in New York.

Well, he probably did, but it was most likely the lesser of the two choices that was given him.

"YOU CAN QUIT, OR YOU CAN BE FIRED !!", !!!!

The Mexican cartel here in the US was working overtime to get rid of Dobbs, for some time... So they succeded....Now there will be be one to harp against the illegals sneaking into the US...I'm guess that we can now be called Amexico....

30 IU vitamin E = 20mg, so I’d say the adult dose of vitamin E during a pandemic is at least 3000 IU (2g/day).

D3 – adults need 2,000 IU a day to maintain immune status.

So I’d say at least morning and night during an epidemic. Better still, you can take a supplement with each meal if there is a really nasty flu going around. Prior to an epidemic, you don’t need the super-high doses, you just need enough to maintain your body’s immune system in good shape.

In terms of nebulizing silver treatment, I’d say at least 3x a day during an epidemic.

Also don’t forget N-acetyl-cysteine. This is a great antioxidant for lung infection. You can get it in bulk from http://purebulk.com. It’s a fantastic treatment for pneumonia as it will prevent lung cell death.

9/11's delayed legacy: cancer for many of the rescue workers - A spate of cancer-related illnesses among New York's rescue services who worked at Ground Zero sparks fear of an epidemic.

A spate of recent deaths of New York police and fire officers who took part in the emergency operation at Ground Zero after the 9/11 attacks has heightened fears that it could be the start of a delayed epidemic of cancer-related illness. Five firefighters and police officers, all of whom were involved in the rescue and clear-up at the site of the collapsed Twin Towers, have died of cancer in the past three months, the oldest being 44. Three died last month within a four-day period.

Those three were Robert Grossman, a Harlem-based police officer who spent several weeks at the emergency site and died of a brain tumour aged 41; fellow police officer Cory Diaz, 37; and firefighter Richard Mannetta, 44. In addition, John McNamara, a 44-year-old firefighter, died in September; and Renee Dunbar, a police officer in her late 30s, died in August. The cluster of cancer deaths comes as Congress is under pressure to pass legislation that would provide federal help to emergency workers who have contracted illnesses since 9/11. Campaigners hope that a bill will be put to the House of Representatives by the end of the year that would set up a $10bn (6bn) national fund for hundreds of people who now have cancer, respiratory illnesses and other diseases that may be linked to their work at the World Trade Centre site. Up to 70,000 people took part in the massive operation at Ground Zero, including police, firefighters and construction workers who came to New York voluntarily from all over the US. Many worked for months amid a toxic soup of dust and chemicals.

Amid the pollutants within the giant pile of 1.8m tons of debris and the surrounding air were 90,000 litres of jet fuel from the two stricken planes, about 1,000 tons of asbestos that was used in the construction of the Twin Towers, pulverised lead from computers, mercury and highly carcinogenic by-products from the burning of plastics and chlorinated chemicals. No official tally is available for the number of those who have died as a result of the 9/11 clear-up. The New York state health department has recorded 817 deaths of emergency workers but it cannot confirm categorically how many of those were directly linked to the site. Federal funds for ill emergency workers ran out in 2003 and, since then, the onus has fallen on cash-strapped New York city, which is facing up to 10,000 claims for compensation through the courts. Families of those who have died say that the burden should be shouldered by the nation as a whole.

Robert Grossman's father, Stephen, drew a parallel with the $3bn the federal government spent this year on buying up old cars under the "cash-for-clunkers" scheme. "They spent that, but they don't have a dime for people who volunteered after 9/11 and ended up giving their lives for their country." The 911 Police Aid Foundation, a group run by and for sick police officers, says it is helping more than 100 officers who worked at Ground Zero and who now have cancer. The group is receiving new cases at a rate of about one a week, many of which are extremely rare at such young ages. Michael Valentin, who volunteers for the group, spent about four months working around the pile of debris from the towers. He now has lymphatic tumours in his chest, as well as asbestos poisoning. "We all have terminal illnesses, we are all going to die. We just want to help others by showing them that they are not alone," he said. The bill currently before Congress, which is named after James Zadroga, a police officer who died in 2006, would provide for the health monitoring and treatment of an additional 15,000 emergency workers. Paradoxically, it would not cover cancer, which was not perceived as a priority at the time the legislation was drafted though numbers have escalated since then. Claire Calladine, a campaigner who runs the organisation 9/11 Health Now, said the fear was that the recent rise in cancer cases was just the start. "We have only seen the tip of the iceberg. How bad will it get that is the big question."

Subject: Obama Takes First Step in Banning All Firearms
On Wednesday Obama Took the First Major Step in a Plan to Ban All Firearms in the United States

On Wednesday the Obama administration took its first major step in a plan to ban all firearms in the United States . The Obama administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations. By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the US State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the US Government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments. These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as George Soros and Michael Bloomberg. The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms.

The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our 2nd Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened. Obama can appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation (in the United States) that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton is committing the US to international treaties and foreign gun control laws. Does that mean Obama is telling the truth? What it means is that there will be no publicized gun control debates in the media or votes in Congress. We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment.

This is not a joke nor a false warning. As sure as government health care will be forced on us by the Obama administration through whatever means necessary, so will gun control.

U.S. reverses stance on treaty to regulate arms trade

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States reversed policy on Wednesday and said it would back launching talks on a treaty to regulate arms sales as long as the talks operated by consensus, a stance critics said gave every nation a veto.

The decision, announced in a statement released by the U.S. State Department, overturns the position of former President George W. Bush's administration, which had opposed such a treaty on the grounds that national controls were better.

Hello again to the Holy Horde from Captain Eric May- Captain May had a setback with someone not putting his tracheotomy tube in correctly so he hasn't been able to talk much at all. I'm not clear if they have to go back to the VA or someone can come out to fix it.
Captain May wanted me to tell you all that he sends his regards and great pride to everyone and to keep up the good work! This rather blew Captain May's plans to get back online in touch with all the groups as he had planned to by now.
Captain May hasn't been online lately so is probably more than 2,000 e-mails behind now, but will catch up later when the situation is better. I don't think I could wade thru that much e-mail! He's hoping they will get his trache tube problem straightened out soon. He still needs his voice to read his e-mail because he has to instruct the pc what to do.
So everyone please keep Captain May and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you, Patti

Tuesday 11/10, on Fair and Balanced with Kevin Barrett, 9-10 am Pacific (noon-1pm Eastern) on NoLiesRadio (to be archived a few hours later here):

Gilad Atzmon, Israeli-born UK resident, jazz saxophonist, author of the hilarious and disturbing novel A Guide to the Perplexed, and controversial anti-Zionist op-ed writer. http://www.gilad.co.uk/writings/

Ironically, it is anti-Zionists like Gilad Atzmon who are upholding the great Jewish ethical tradition, which blends acerbic skepticism with intense moral engagement.

Gilad Atzmon's internet op-eds are infinitely better than the kind that gets printed on dead trees. He is a genuinely original voice. I'm looking forward to our conversation on Fair and Balanced.

This came from a Marine unit over in Iraq. Their wish is to send it to as many people in the country as possible.
(Be sure to read their note at the end of the e-mail). Hopefully we can help them achieve their goal.

I HOPE I DO NOT HEAR OF ANYONE BREAKING THIS ONE OR SEE IT DELETED

This is a ribbon for soldiers fighting in Iraq .

SLEEP LAST NIGHT?

Bed a little lumpy...

Toss and turn any.....

Wish the heat was higher...

Maybe the a/c ! Wasn't on...

Had to go to the john...
Need a drink of water...

Yes.. It is like that!

Count your blessings.
Think of these men & women
And the next time when...

The other car cuts you off and you must hit the brakes,
Or you have to park a little further from Tesco than you want to be,
Or you're served slightly warm food at the restaurant,
Or you're sitting and cursing the traffic in front of you,

Or the shower runs out of hot water,
Think of them...
Protecting your freedom!

DO NOT DELETE-Please PASS ON -Message from Iraq

The proud warriors of Baker Company wanted to do
Something to pay tribute to our fallen comrades So since we are part of the only
Marine Infantry Battalion left in Iraq the one way that we could
Think of doing that is By taking a picture of
Baker Company saying the way we feel.
It would be awesome if you could find a way to share
This with our fellow countrymen.

'WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN'
And are proud to serve our country.
' Semper Fi 1stSgt Dave Jobe.'

The attached photo was forwarded from one of the last U.S. Marine companies in Iraq
They would like to have it passed to as many people as possible, to let the folks back home know that they remember why they're there and that they remember those who've been lost.

Send this to 13 people in the next 15 minutes. Go.

Two dead, two injured in Tualatin shooting

By The Oregonian

November 10, 2009, 1:50PM
TUALATIN -- A gunman who opened fire at a drug-testing clinic today killed one woman and injured several others before apparently fatally shooting himself, authorities said.

Tualatin police reported that the shooting at about 11:48 a.m. was at the Legacy Laboratory Services. The clinic carries out drug and alcohol tests for private employers and the government, according to company information.

Tualatin Police Chief Kent Barker said the gunman's body was found inside the clinic, and said his wounds were apparently self-inflicted. He said one woman was found dead. One man was flown by air ambulance to OHSU Hospital in Portland, while another victim was sent by ground ambulance to  Legacy Emanuel Hospital.

Barker said officers were on scene within two minutes of the first call.

The shooting was inside a strip mall at the intersection of Southwest Martinazzi Avenue and Warm Springs Street.

Officers from Tualatin, Tigard, Lake Oswego and at least one state police have responded and are on scene.

Police are taking statements from dozens of witnesses. Shortly after the incident, one woman ran from the scene covered in blood.

At a nearby Subway restaurant, Mike McNeel tended to the woman who he said was not shot but injured by broken glass. McNeel said the woman told him a man started shooting at a medical clinic.

Bob Murtha and Kyle Stone passed near the scene at about 11:40 a.m. when they said they heard multiple gun shots, We heard five or six shots, Murtha said.

Mike McNeel, who works in Tualatin, was coming to Subway and found a girl fleeing down the hill in white labcoat.

"I pulled in she was kind of fleeing and bleeding, so I got her on the picnic table."

Bill Phillips said he heard shots while walking his dog in a nearby park and thought, "Man that's a gunshot." He said he heard three, a pause, then six more in rapid fire but it didn't sound like an automatic weapon.

Brad-John Gallup, a team manager at nearby State Farm Operations Center, was one of dozens waiting to be interviewed by police.

"We're just glad our people are safe."

Administrators locked doors at five Tualatin schools for about an hour because of the nearby policy activity, said Susan Stark Haydon, Tigard-Tualatin School District spokeswoman.

It was a precautionary measure because none of the schools were in danger, Stark Haydon said.

School officials are paying attention to any roads that will be closed due to the investigation because it may disrupt after-school bus routes. If buses will be delayed, Stark Haydon said an automated phone message will be sent to parents.

Tigard school routes could also be impacted.

"If they are late in Tualatin, they'll probably going to be late on their other routes," Stark Haydon said. "Buses are going to have a hard time getting to schools and then a hard time dropping off kids."

At nearby Horizon Christian Elementary, 230 students were put on lockdown, which has since been lifted.

Four girls on their way to lunch said they heard three shots, a pause then two more.

"It just sounded like fireworks to me" said Belinda Yankey.

John Mann was driving back from the gym when he heard gunshots and thought it was "construction work and something dropping."

Students, teachers escape as fire sweeps Marysville Elementary School

By Kimberly A.C. Wilson, The Oregonian

November 10, 2009, 1:30PM
Marysville Elementary School fireView full sizeTroutdale resident Rebecca Bruster was shopping at Wal-Mart when she saw the smoke. She rushed over to the school and started hosing down a property next to the school as firefighters battle the fire at Marysville School at 7733 S.E. Raymond St.Nearly 500 students and teachers escaped a fire that heavily damaged the historic Marysville Elementary School in Southeast Portland today.

More than 100 Portland firefighters battled the three-alarm fire. Problems were first reported in the 87-year-old school at 7733 S.E. Raymond St. at about 11:40 a.m., according to police scanner traffic.

"We have lost this building. This building is totally engulfed," a firefighter reported to a dispatcher.

Firefighters appeared to control the blaze by 12:35 p.m. While damage was extensive, it appeared that the west side of the building was not seriously damaged.

The school will be closed Wednesday for Veterans Day. School district officials are considering sending Marysville students to the vacant Rose City Park school in Northeast Portland when they return.

"It's not ideal," said Matt Shelby, a Portland Public Schools spokesman. "But it's a building."

The school serves about 460 students in kindergarten through eighth-grade.

At about 12:15 p.m., Portland Fire & Rescue said all 460 students and 17 teachers have been accounted for. They gathered after the evacuation at Holgate Public Library at 7905 S.E. Holgate Blvd.

When fire alarms at the school began to ring, teachers noticed smoke and began leaving with the students, fire department spokeswoman Kim Kosmas said.  The building was emptied quickly.

"From what it sounds like, they did everything perfectly," Kosmas said.

The fire appeared to start in the Discovery Zone, a school area used for applied physics and engineering projects. The school Web site describes the Zone as a place for "hands-on learning for all students in the areas of design, construction, mechanics and movement."

Billowing smoke was visible from downtown Portland. Tall flames and heavy black smoke shot from several places on the roof of the single-story school building.

Aerial fire crews doused the building with water as hundreds of residents in the Mt. Scott-Arleta Neighborhood watched the building burn.

Meanwhile, frantic parents rushed to reunite with their children at nearby Holgate Library. Parents were asked to sign forms before they were reunited with their children outside the library.

Parent Erik Gross was driving on Southeast Foster Road when he saw the dark cloud of smoke. He drove down Raymond Street and saw his son's school on fire. Gross said he called his wife, Cherie, who rushed to the library to get her 11-year-old son, Harlan, a sixth-grader.

"My husband said the school is on fire," Cherie recalled.

Harlan Gross said the fire alarm went off and thought it was a drill.

"I just got in line and left," Harlan said. "As soon I stepped out of class, I smelled the smoke. Outside, I saw flames on top of the school."

His mom said she found her son at the library, where there was a lot of noise and excitement.

"I walked up here, and it was pandemonium," Cherie Gross said.

Parents and their children locked arms in tearful embraces.

"I was so scared you can't imagine," said Reuben Hanna, a father of three girls, ages 5, 8 and 11.

After his wife called him at work from her job in Tualatin, he raced to the library, parked about two blocks away and ran the rest of the way.

He hugged his three girls outside the library, still catching his breath.

"I was just terrified," Hanna said.

His 11-year-old daughter, Audrie, said she "just got up and lined up" when she heard the alarm.

Once she left class, "we smelled a whole bunch of smoke ... The custodians were yelling 'Go,! Go! Go!'," Audrie said.

Once outside, she said, "I looked back and it was pitch black."

Her little sister, Haylee, 8, once reunited with her dad, asked him about all her belongings left behind.

"That all can be replaced. You're most important," Reuben Hanna told his daughter. "God protected us today."

By 1 p.m., most students had been picked up at the library, yet still a few parents were arriving. Some students and adults also were treated for smoke inhalation by paramedics who parked an ambulance across from the library.

Kosmas said a 53-year-old man whom she described as a staff member was transported to a hospital with smoke inhalation, but she did not think his condition was serious.

Mary Dingle, principal at Roseway Heights Elementary School, previously served as Marysville's principal for five years.

"I'm sure there will be a lot of distressed people today," she said. "Marysville is a really sweet old building with a lot of character, a lot went into that school."

MarysvilleFloorPlan.jpgView full size
Marysville School is a wooden Colonial Revival building originally constructed in 1921. The boiler for the school is located in the basement. The school kitchen was added in 1950.

Situated in the Mt. Scott-Arleta neighborhood of Southeast Portland, it was designed with multiple entrance doors on all wings of the building to provide for safety in the event of a fire.

When it was built in 1921, fire safety was very much on the mind of its designers, according to
a recent historic building assessment by the school district.

After several well-publicized school fires in U.S. cities, the Portland City Council passed a requirement in 1910 that all future schools feature fire-proof construction. Many of Portlands new fire-proof schools were made of brick and concrete.

But Marysville, constructed of wood and metal, used a different approach to ensure its students safety, the historic review says. Built in a U-shape and limited to one story, the school was designed with multiple doors on every side.

In February 2008, Portland Public Schools recommended that 10 schools be demolished as part of a 20-year plan to upgrade the district's aging campuses. Marysville was not included on that list because the district said that schools built before 1940, including Marysville and Llewellyn, had solid structures that could be saved.

"By and large, the buildings built pre-1940, we are going to recommend full modernization," said Cathy Mincberg, the district's chief operating officer told The Oregonian last year. "Several times, the community said to tear it down. But we thought it was an old building that reflected the neighborhood character. So we said let's go with modernization for now and have more conversation."

Portland Commissioner Randy Leonard, who oversees the Fire Bureau, was at the scene, touring the building with firefighters.

Leonard said the loss of the building will be tough for the local community. Leonard's mother went to grade school there beginning in 1927.

The building is near the Lents neighborhood. Last year, Leonard pushed for city and urban renewal funding for improvements to the playground behind the school. He dedicated the upgrades during a public ceremony Oct. 19.

"It's more than just a playground, its a community park," Leonard said. "The community is just going to be devastated."

WHO has just released its "Whole of Society Pandemic readiness guidelines" first
prepared in April 2009, the same month the swine flu virus mysteriously appeared
in Mexico City, and revised in July 2009.

The plan outlines how WHO will take over a country's essential services,
including water and sanitation; fuel and energy; food; health care;
telecommunications; finance; law and order; education; and transportation under
the pretext of a pandemic emergency.

WHO claims even a moderate flu "pandemic" will "test the limits of resilience of
nations, companies, and communities, depending on their capacity to respond" and
require WHO to assume charge of government functions.

"National inter-ministerial pandemic preparedness committees should map out the
central government's roles, responsibilities, and chain of command and designate
lead agencies," says WHO, omitting to mention these committees answer to the UN
health body.

WHO says the Ministries of Defence should consider what military assets should
be brought to bear in the event of a pandemic and how to mobilize them,
preparing for the use of the army to force quarantine and vaccinate people
perhaps after WHO has once more given a live bird flu virus to pharma companies
to contaminate vaccine material as happened in Austria in February when Baxter
nearly triggered a global pandemic.

Baxter executives sit on WHO's key vaccine advisory board which recommended the
toxic and untested swine flu jab for the world in the response to a flu milder
than the seasonal one..

"Public health measures, such as quarantines and school and business closures
might place serious burdens on society and individual liberties, especially if
they are implemented on a wide scale. Governments should carefully weigh the
risks and benefits of far-reaching restrictions on movement and implement these
measures in a way that respects individual rights," says WHO.

However, WHO also says: "Ministries of Justice should consider what legal
processes could be suspended during the pandemic and make alternative plans to
operate courts during pandemic."

In France, leaked documents show that the Minister of Justice has ordered the
suspension of the most basic rights, and people can be incarcerated for up to
six months without having to appear before a judge in a pandemic emergency.

In addition, drills and exercises of the kind conducted by WHO in the Ukraine a
month before the pneumonic plague appeared there are envisaged.

"6.5 Table-top and simulation exercises and drills at all levels are the best
way to test, validate, and improve pandemic preparedness plans. Tools developed
by WHO or international organizations and adapted to local circumstances may be
useful for a quick review to identify gaps during the pandemic response mode."

Obama's Afghan Plan: About 40,000 More Troops --CBS: Sources Say Force Will Grow to 100,000 - Nearly Filling Gen. McChrystal's Request; Long-Term [Blackwater/KBR] Stay Planned 09 Nov 2009 Tonight, after months of conferences with top advisors, President Obama has settled on a new strategy for Afghanistan. CBS News reports that the president will send a lot more troops and plans to keep a large force there, long term. ...Informed sources tell CBS News he intends to give Gen. Stanley McChrystal most, if not all, the additional troops he is asking for. McChrystal wanted 40,000 and the president has tentatively decided to send four combat brigades plus thousands more support troops.

CLG Exclusive: Fort Hood: 'This story stinks to high heaven.' --SFC, who spent ten years at Fort Hood, comments on Ft. Hood events 09 Nov 2009 I spent 10 years at Ft Hood. There is no way this 'official' story is legitimate. No way would a room full of combat vets allow this one shooter to get off over 100 rounds! And, it is not normal for the outside security guards to be there. They are at the MP station, and at the main gates. This means the room full of soldiers processing must have been pinned down; multiple shooters is the only plausible scenario. This sounds like MAJ Hasan has been used, and perhaps is a patsy. --SFC Donald Buswell (Retired)

Hasan Computer Reveals No Terror Ties 09 Nov 2009 A preliminary review of the computer of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, the accused shooter in Thursday's rampage at Fort Hood in which 13 people were killed, has revealed no evidence of any connection to terror groups or conspirators, according to law enforcement officials. CBS News reports that an examination of the computer has revealed Hasan visited Web sites promoting radical Islamic views, but investigators have not found any e-mail communications with outside facilitators or known terrorists.

CIA Denies Report of Blocking Hasan Intel --Officials Tell CBS News Agency Isn't Withholding Information on Suspected Fort Hood Shooter 09 Nov 2009 Responding to a report that the Army psychiatrist suspected in last week's Fort Hood shootings had tried to contact people within al Qaeda - and that government intelligence agencies knew about it and are refusing to brief Congress on it - a U.S. intelligence official told CBS News that the CIA isn't withholding information from Congress. "There's no sign at this point that the CIA had collected information relevant to this case and then simply sat on it," the official told CBS News. ABC News published the report Monday morning with details that the CIA was refusing to brief the congressional committees charged with overseeing the intelligence agencies, a senior lawmaker told ABC.

U.S. Monitored Fort Hood Suspect Before Shooting 10 Nov 2009 Intelligence agencies intercepted communications last year and this year between Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, who is accused of shooting to death 13 people at Fort Hood, Tex., and a radical cleric in Yemen known for his incendiary anti-American teachings. But federal authorities dropped an inquiry into the matter after deciding that the messages warranted no further action, government officials said on Monday. Major Hasans exchanges with the cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki, once a spiritual leader at a mosque in suburban Virginia where Major Hasan worshipped, indicate that the authorities were aware of Major Hasan before last Thursdays deadly rampage, but did nothing.

Officials: U.S. Aware of Hasan Efforts to Contact 'al Qaeda' --Army Major in Fort Hood Massacre Used 'Electronic Means' to Connect with Terrorists 09 Nov 2009 U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda [al-CIAduh], two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News. It is not known whether the intelligence agencies informed the Army that one of its officers was seeking to connect with suspected al Qaeda figures, the officials said.

Lawyer asks investigators not to question Hasan 09 Nov 2009 A lawyer for the Army psychiatrist accused in a deadly shooting spree at Fort Hood said Monday he asked investigators not to question his client and expressed doubt that the suspect would be able to get a fair trial, given the widespread attention to the case. Retired Col. John P. Galligan said he was contacted Monday by Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's family and was headed to an Army hospital in San Antonio to meet Hasan. "Until I meet with him, it's best to say we're just going to protect all of his rights," Galligan said... Galligan questioned whether Hasan could get a fair trial in either criminal or military court, given President Barack Obama's planned visit to the base on Tuesday and public comments by the post commander, Lt. Gen. Robert Cone.

Hoekstra to launch investigation into Fort Hood shooting, dubs it 'homegrown jihadism' 09 Nov 2009 A key Republican lawmaker on Monday asked that the Obama administration keep documents relevant to the Fort Hood shooting available so Congress can continue its investigation into what he called an incident of "homegrown jihadism." Rep. Pete Hoekstra (R-Insane-Mich.), the ranking member of the House Intelligence Committee, sent a preservation order to the heads of the FBI, CIA, NSA and Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair directing them to keep the documents as part of his committee's review of the attacks.

Soldier Found With 100 Pounds of C-4 Released From Jail --The ATF, FBI and Montgomery County Bomb Squad investigated the case, trying to determine whether the explosives came from Fort Campbell. 05 Nov 2009 An Army Special Forces soldier who admitted to police that he was stockpiling military-grade explosives outside his home near Fort Campbell was released from jail into the custody of his wife. U.S. Magistrate Judge Cliff Knowles gave the order releasing 25-year-old Sgt. 1st Class Timothy Ryan Richards during a detention hearing Thursday in federal court in Nashville. He was charged with possessing two unregistered automatic weapons but he has not yet entered a plea.

Soldier Arrested After C-4 Explosives, Unregistered Guns Found At Home --The explosives were found in crates. 02 Nov 2009 An Army Special Forces soldier has been arrested following the discovery of 100 pounds of explosives at his Tennessee home in Montgomery County. Timothy Ryan Richards appeared in federal court Monday in Nashville on charges of possessing two unregistered guns. Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agent Eric Kehn said he expects Richards will face more charges related to the discovery of the explosives... The house is located near the Fort Campbell, Ky., Army post where the solider is based.

US marine slain by fellow soldier at N Carolina base 09 Nov 2009 A US marine has been killed by a fellow soldier in Camp Lejeune, military investigators at the Marine base in North Carolina have found. Private Jonathan Law, 21, "is in the custody of military authorities... for the alleged homicide of Corporal Joshua E. Hartzell, 22, early Friday morning," said Captain Timothy Patrick, base public affairs officer on Monday, reported AFP.

British spies help prevent al Qaeda-inspired attack on New York subway 09 Nov 2009 British spies have foiled a terrorist plot by a suspected al Qaeda [al-CIAduh] operative to blow up the New York subway. The plan, which reportedly would have been the biggest attack on America since 9/11, was uncovered after Scotland Yard intercepted an email. The force alerted the FBI, who launched an operation which led to airport shuttle bus driver Najibullah Zazi, 24, being charged with conspiracy to use weapons of mass destruction.

Ind. base hosts nuclear terrorist attack training --Over 4K military personnel taking part in training 09 Nov 2009 Thousands of military personnel, first responders and emergency workers are experiencing the ultimate test at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center. They are participants in a joint exercise, called Vibrant Response, that simulates a terrorist nuclear attack in a US city. Over 4,000 military and civilian personnel from around the country are taking part in the exercise. Vibrant Response involves urban and aerial search-and-rescue missions, nuclear, biological and radiological decontamination, as well as airlift and medical training. General Victor Renuart, the four-star Air Force general in charge of NORAD, attended the training Monday.

The incident was under investigation and there was no indication that enemy action had been involved, it added.

Schumer Calls for Review as Millions in Stimulus Funds Aid Foreign Firms 09 Nov 2009 Sen. Charles Schumer called for a "comprehensive" review on Monday of all renewable energy projects seeking funding from the economic stimulus package, following reports that $849 million in U.S. grants have gone to foreign wind companies in the past two months alone. The New York Democrat first intervened last week, writing a letter to Energy Secretary Steven Chu urging him to deny stimulus funding to a Texas wind farm that would rely on wind turbines made in China. The $1.5 billion project would create up to 3,000 jobs in China but only 330 jobs in the United States, most of which would be temporary, according to one report.

Report: $30B in Bonuses Doled on Wall St. 09 Nov 2009 Just a year after receiving a record-setting amount of government aid to rescue their failing companies, three of Wall Street's giants will pay the government's generosity forward, in the form of nearly $30 billion worth of executive bonuses, according a report in Bloomberg. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase, which have all exited the government's Troubled Asset Relief Program, or TARP, are set to dole out $29.7 billion in bonus money. According to Bloomberg, "The money, split among 119,000 employees, equals $250,400 each, almost five times the $50,303 median household income in the U.S. last year."

Chemicals in Our Food, and Bodies By Nicholas D. Kristof 08 Nov 2009 Your body is probably home to a chemical called bisphenol A, or BPA. Its a synthetic estrogen that United States factories now use in everything from plastics to epoxies to the tune of six pounds per American per year... Now it turns out its in our food. Consumer Reports magazine tested an array of brand-name canned foods for a report in its December issue and found BPA in almost all of them. ...[More] than 200 other studies have shown links between low doses of BPA and adverse health effects, according to the Breast Cancer Fund, which is trying to ban the chemical from food and beverage containers.

UPDATE 11/7/09 3:25pm est - Illinios having Pneumonic Plague Drill Today !

Lake in the Hills, Illinois is having a Pneumonic Plague drill today. This is not even close to the Ukraine Area, but I wanted to insert it, since the Eastern Bloc countries had one in September and now it seems they are dealing with the Plague. What is causing governments to want to do drills on the Pneumonic Plague? Why not the Ebola virus, Swine Flu, etc? Why are they choosing the Plague? I just find things like that of great interest, especially since they use the same words Interpol did with their drill "biological terrorist attack".

From Article:

By DAVID FITZGERALD - dfitzgerald@...

LAKE IN THE HILLS – Citizens infected with a fictitious pneumonic plague will line up outside Lincoln Prairie Elementary School on Saturday to help test the site as a medication dispensary in case of an emergency.

The Lake in the Hills Police Department is carrying out the test as part of a grant from the McHenry County Department of Health for its emergency health plan. In case of a biological terrorist attack or widespread disease outbreak, the site would be able get medicine to the community, Lake in the Hills Chief of Patrol Services David Brey said.

“This is just a functional test of the site,” he said.

The event will use volunteers pretending to have been stricken by the plague to help test the flow of the site, from initial triage through receiving proof of being medicated.

“We picked the plague on purpose so it would have nothing to do with the swine flu,” Brey said.

The test will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at Lincoln Prairie, 500 Harvest Gate, across from Lake in the Hills Village Hall.

First Hand Knowledge: Mike Ruppert is a Sham (CLG?)

I'd like to remind folks that libelous slander, in the United States, only exists in cases in which an issuer's claims are not true. In the U.K. that is not true and we are not in the U.K. That said, here is the latest, small chapter in the psy-op known as the Mike Ruppert Entourage.  Lori Price of CLG (Citizens for a Legitimate Government) runs a 9/11 listserv at Riseup.net. It was, at one time, one of Mike Ruppert's mailing lists. By and large, folks tuned in to find out the latest on the 9/11 investigation and, at the time, most of the good ones were expected to come from Mike. I felt the same way.

I recall the day when I first submitted my research on the Mitre and Ptech connections to 9/11 to a list Mike was on and it is the one at Yahoo Groups known as CIA-Drugs. I had already had a bad bout with Mike (not the moderator) when he claimed that the usage of methamphetamines by intelligence agencies to practice behavior modification was off topic for a list whose purpose was to unearth the connection between the uses and sales of drugs and the activities of intelligence agencies. Yeah, I know it's crazy.

As to the Mitre and Ptech connections to 9/11 he said they were so ridiculous that he didn't even need to look at them. That's right: they were so ludicrous, that they didn't even warrant the kind of examination that determines if something is ludicrous in the first place. That's called a rabbit hole, friends. Some months later, at the list moderated by Lori Price, I submitted the evidence again. Mike was on the list but I was not looking for his approval anymore. I already knew what I needed to know about Mike Ruppert. No, I was attempting to put this information between serious researchers, some of whom were obviously drawn to any list with him on it. As well, I thought, maybe he would reconsider and tackle the information or maybe he would be forced to by the tide of other researchers and public demand. That was not to happen.  Out of the blue, I was told to stop making libelous statements about Mike and though, believe you me, they were on my mind, at this time I had never made any accusations against Mike Ruppert. This is a typical rabbit hole invitation. It put me immediately in the position of having to explain myself instead of Mike having to explain why he was attempting to squash my researcher (an oft used tactic by Mike, as you can see by reading up on the supplied links below), which is the situation I was hoping to facilitate. Of course, as I have said, I had not at this point issued any accusations against Mike but obviously he knew they were coming and so did Lori.

After Lori told the list that I was attempting to hack the list (during the period that I, miraculously, didn't have access to the list and was, therefore, unable to respond to the accusations, let alone know that they existed) I contacted Riseup admin, the host of my email address and the mailing list Lori and Mike headed. Lori had told the list that the matter was being investigated with the Riseup Collective but the collective told me that Lori had never even contacted them. Many more moons passed and Mike was discredited (in most serious 9/11 circles). His publication, From the Wilderness, was eventually forced to cover the story and they did their own spin that left out any Israeli involvement (Christopher Bollyn's research on the same left out the Saudi connections). Saudi and Israeli space outfits work very closely together and this is one thing systematically obscured by both "journalists." Can you say 'controlled opposition?'

Recently , Bollyn claimed to have incredible new leads but he was not going to send out the information because he didn't have the funding. This is not Life Magazine; it's the internet! I blogged relentlessly and widely, for years, from the position of homelessness so don't gimme no crap! If Bollyn is legitimate, he will not hold the truth hostage for more donations. Disgusting! Well, here it is now in 2008 and Price continues to be a large scale presence on the world wide web. She seems to be putting out good information so I though, ya know, maybe she's legit. I decided to ask her for her take on Ruppert now. After years, and after having had Lori on mailing lists of mine prior to even ever communicating with Mike, I though maybe she fought dirty but maybe she just didn't realize whose side she was on. Maybe she deserved a chance, after all.

I ask you the reader, after all of that, what are the chances that Lori would simply not remember me or the whole shebang she was a part of for months? What are the chances that such conscious manipulation could go merely forgotten in the next few years? "I don't remember," is not the trademark of a reliable journalist but it is the trademark of a politician, i.e. a manipulator. Of course, now that my research and that of others' IS getting its due and Ruppert is ignored, the only thing that will save face now that my credibility actually rises above Mike's (perhaps not among the public but most accomplished 9/11 researchers around know the research) is to lay the groundwork for a series of lies. The campaign is begun, if on a very small scale. The stance being adopted by Lori Price is deny, deny, deny!

I couldn't let this go unreported. To this day, I knew that she was either deluded or a spook and a simple, even friendly email often does a nice job of revealing which. If she had been deluded she might apologize. If she was merely convinced that most others are now deluded about Mike, a lot of things could have come as a response. If she was a spook, however, you can expect mixed signals such as being defensive and even going on the attack as you pretend to not know what is being alluded to. One question I posed to her just this morning is: "Weren't you there when someone introduced the Mitre and Ptech leads and everyone, including Ruppert and yourself, told that person to get lost and even told people that that person was attempting to hack the list."

Her response: I have never even met Mike Ruppert or was at any such conference. You obviously have me mixed up with someone else, but I
am too busy and I DON'T CARE. I owe you NO explanations - you're another lunatic on the Web. L. P.

So I am to believe that one Lori Price has been replaced, at the same email address (with the same outfit - CLG) by someone that I am mixing up with the old Lori Price - at the same email address. If true, then why is the job of being Lori Price rotated?!? Of course she knows what I am talking about, as is indicated by my previous exchange with her, even earlier this morning where I wrote: Now that Ruppert is discredited and even From the Wilderness has been forced to cover the Mitre and Ptech connections, what is your stance on the issue?

Her response: WHAT issue, nutjob? Feigning a lack of understanding, she knows enough to go immediately on the offensive (this was the entirety of my first contact to her in several years). The only person that could pull off not remembering months of such activity is someone who either lies so much that they can't possibly sort it all out or someone who is so dense and has such a bad memory that anynews disseminated by said person should not be trusted. Nutjob indeed. The Zionazi juggernaut is failing, Lori. You are losing.

Her mailing list at Riseup shows the following in the list description: The Israeli/Palestinian debate is not welcome dialogue for the group. Moreover, comments/theories blaming an ethnic or religious group for the 9-11 terrorist attacks are not permitted. Neat, eh? We can mention Saudi's because it is not an ethnicity like 'Arab' is but what about a state in which the national identity, the racial identity, and religious identity are all tied up in one? That pretty much excludes any discussion of Israel; in fact she specifically says that we cannot even mention the suffering of the Palestinians. How very, very neat.

I just thought everyone should know. If you give a man the correct information for seven years, he may believe the incorrect information on the first day of the eighth year when it is necessary, from your point of view, that he should do so. Your first job is to build the credibility and the authenticity of your propaganda, and persuade the enemy to trust you although you are his enemy. ~ A Psychological Warfare Casebook Operations Research Office Johns Hopkins University Baltimore (1958)

I have no idea of Citizens for a Legitimate Government is, itself, controlled opposition but I think so. Everything I have ever seen come out of CLG has come from one of her email addresses.  Caveat Lector!

A large chunk of the research that Ruppert said was so ridiculous that
he did not even need to examine it to know if it had merit, is here:
