Our Vision: To organize a group of writers, and those interested in the trade to get together, discuss, collaborate, share, network and form friendships, associations, and meet our local peers, and all those interested in Science Fiction, Fantasy and other Cross-Genre and Speculative writing in this area of fiction. To have a group unimpeded, as other writing groups sometimes are by writing that is not of a Speculative nature. To form a group that acknowledges these styles of writing as equal or superior to any other, intellectually stimulating, and a great and enjoyable way to spend time reading or writing.

Our Mandate:To bring people together, experienced, novice, and everyone else, together to share in the craft and profession, and hobby of writing. To form an e-mail list where others can share their tales about how their work is progressing, form friendships, and business associations. To have people get together once a month or so, at a decided time to join up. To have a regular newsletter to be published by the moderators, and provided to the members for their consumption where group-members and others can submit articles or poems, or segments of writing for a large audience.

Our Goal: To grow and develop the writing community in Regina, and enlighten and enhance the lives and experiences of other writers in this "group of genres". To grow the group to the point where we can consider other events, such as speakers, etc.
