Description

We are on the threshold of a global energy decline that will gain moment- um over the coming years and decades. This ain't the 1970s or Y2K. This energy decline will be for real and will be forever. If you haven't already started, it's time to begin your preparation. We won't be able to deal with or survive this energy decline without planning, which has been sorely lacking to date.
This group is formed with the understanding that Canada will have unique requirements dealing with the energy decline dictated by geography, climate, language, cultural and regional diversity, and did I mention climate. Imagine trying to survive our Canadian winter without heating fuel. We will need more and earlier preparation than most countries.
Most books available are American or British, applicable to Canada only in a general sense. The various peak-oil groups, like ROE2 and ROE3 do not and cannot address our unique Canadian needs. This list will. Submissions are welcome in English & French.
