Description

WELCOME: This forum is to look at the past initiative for Canada to seek a union with a tropical country/territory.

We will look at ways of how we can create a mutually beneficial union between Canada and this new proposed province.

Whether it be Turks & Caicos, which is located east of the island of Cuba, just to the south of The Bahamas, or, maybe another island, or grouping of islands. Perhaps it might be worthwhile to pursue a union with the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) bloc of countries, consisting of a startup single market economy.

Whatever is deemed as most fitting, hopefully one day Canada will achieve having a true "Sunshine Province" which is warm between the months of November-to-March. A 'sunshine' province for Canada will no doubt bolster Canada's International image as a fantastic place to live, work and conduct business.

Re: Going away or joining in ...
I'm all for the Turks & Caicos Islands joining Canada. Should the islanders themselves vote to effect that change, it wouldn't be a 'colonial' move for us to
