This is the group website for the Western Dakota Gem Mineral Society of Rapid City, SD.
Anyone who is interested in rocks, minerals, gems, fossils, geology, paleontology, archaeology, and mineralology are welcome to attend our meetings.
We meet on the second Friday of every month, at the Minneluzahan Senior Center, across from the Civic Center and Holiday Inn Convention Center, at 7:30 pm.
Our meetings usually include announcements, a program of some sort, a business meeting, door prizes, and refreshments. If a field trip is planned, it will be announced at the meeting as well.
