The Alliance for Arts and Culture, a non-profit arts marketing and advocacy organization serving the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, has created this group to allow the exchange of advocacy information related to arts and culture in BC. We encourage all members to forward information related to cultural advocacy: municipal, provincial and national election issues and candidate forums, government funding for arts and culture programs, new programs to promote the arts, public policy, employment issues in the cultural sector and more. Members of this group may post information about advocacy related-events, such as election forums or organizational meetings, but this group should not be used to promote performance events or exhibitions.
