This is a friendly group for Alberta Homeschooling parents to come and discuss joys, issues and questions. Because homeschooling is a lifestyle choice and not just an activity we put down at the end of the day we want to be here to provide all kinds of support to homeschooling families. We just request that you keep your comments kind and take any dissagreements off-list.
**We require that either you have made a commitment to homeschool next year or are already homeschooling to be a member. Please understand that we are a tight knit group so lurkers and those just looking at/thinking about homeschooling won't be approved.

*The photo is of Zach, Jacob, and their cousin, at a lookout overlooking Terra Nova National Park, NF, after a 1/2-hour hike up a somewhat steep incline during our trip this past October (not sure of the lookout name). The view was spectacular--a full 360 degree view, which included a view of the ocean. The hike down was much easier."
