Its part of a Worldwide Freecycle(TM) Network that is made up of many individual groups across the globe. It's a grassroots movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. Membership is free and all listings are absolutely *FREE* and in Airdrie, Alberta, Canada. Let's help each other with re-useable items and at the same time be kind to Our Mother Earth!

There are only a few important rules of etiquette:

1: Everything must be completely *FREE* No Trading, No Bartering, and No Money. AND NO SPAM!

2: All items must be Legal, Safe and Appropriate for all ages. For example, no knives, weapons, drugs or medications, or adult material (explicit or not). One Strike and you're out!

3: Please respond to the author of the posts to respect privacy and to cut down on the the number of emails & posts sent to the whole group. And please don't put your phone number or address in the posts to the whole group for safety and privacy reasons.

4: PLEASE post whether you WANT something or have something to OFFER (ie.wanted, need, looking for, offering, to be taken, etc) IN the subject line to avoid confusion. A good subject line must tell whether you want or are offering an object, and what the object is; for example: "WANTED: small tank for turtle" or "OFFERED: green skidoo suit, XL" or "TO BE TAKEN: black kitchen table with 3 chairs".
