This is a solidly built power-assisted bicycle that meets the latest Nanaimo
Bylaw requirements to be classed as a bicycle and NOT as a Scooter.
It make pedaling easy -- but you still get your exercise by pedaling uphill.
Battery power alone will keep you going on the flats and minor slopes.
When pedaling (or coasting downhill) the battery recharges to give you
extra-long range. It also has dual batteries, so you can switch over when one
runs down (although that has never happened to us).
It recharges fully overnight -- and will quick charge in about an hour to get
you home in a pinch. Charger, front carrier, rear padded seat and kickstand all
included.
This unisex, battery-powered bicycle looks and runs like new.
Purchased new by present owner two summers ago.
Used only in summer.
Variable-speed motor 200W-350W.
Top Speed 24 km/hr (15.5 mph)

Two "North Star by Jeldwen" bi-fold closet doors, in original packaging. Each
door consists of two 18" wide x 80" high panels, for a total door width of 36" x
80". Fits a finished opening of 36" x 80 5/8". Door height is adjustable by
1". Opens to left or right. Includes mounting track hardware and jamb bracket.
Textured wood grain surface. Primed (white) and ready to paint.

I purchased 2 free standing oak bottom cabinets from the restore for $140 each
and have decided to sell them as they will not fit into the kitchen (total spent
$280). One side is oak, the other is particle board. They have 4 drawers
(total) with very good rollers and the units have doors from both sides so they
can be used in a centre island or up against the wall.
Also there are 4 oak doors for upper cabinets with glass in perfect condition
but again...we won't be using them. The hinges are newer and set-in.
I will take $100 for the whole lot (ie 2 lower cabinets and 4 glass/oak doors).
They are dry and ready for installation.

Selling a "General Electric Tri Clean Quiet Power" dishwasher for the bargain
price of $40.
This dishwasher is in "like new" condition, very clean and operates perfectly.
We finally decided to upgrade our cottage to a retirement home and kept this
anticipating that we would reuse it, but have now decided to buy all new
stainless appliances.
The unit is white. We purchased it several years ago, but it has seen little use
because we only spend several months a year on Gabriola and often did our dishes
by hand. It runs very quietly. We have the original operating manual.
The unit is currently freestanding (ie un-intalled) and ready for pick-up. We
personally do not have a vehicle that can be used for moving it. Located at the
South end of the island.

Remember these? I have a ton of lectures on cassette from my teachers that I
wan't to convert to digital. A Sony Walkman will be the easiest/cheapest way to
begin.

We are so lucky to have my friend Kim Beggs coming to perform here on Tuesday,
August 28th!
Yukoner, Kim Beggs has slipped into the spotlight as of late. Filmmaker,
Soundtrack writer, 3 fabulous albums, and many excellent collaborative projects,
Kim is a bit of a phenomenon in the folk world. She has a very unique voice and
performing style you won't soon forget. This quote from her website might say it
best: "Kim Beggs is an original talent who makes music that is boldly brilliant,
dark and sincere, with an instantly recognizable sturdy and trusting girl-woman
voice that blends sweetness and grit."
KIM BEGGS has shared the stage with Buffy St Marie, Stephen Fearing,
Ramblin’ Jack Elliot, Chris Jagger (to name a few) and at festivals like
the Edmonton Folk Music Festival, Ottawa Folk Festival, Lunenburg
Harbour Folk Festival, Vancouver 2010 Cultural Olympiad, and Trafalgar
Square in London England for Canada Day (2008).

Bay before.

in a kitchen. Dimensions are 59 3/4" x 35 1/4". Top is white tile, legs and trim
are a blonde wood, edges are curved. Table is heavy, sturdy, and in like-new

Raku Kiln composed of dry stacked kiln brick with a fiber lid used many times
over the years to create TaraCotta's one of kind Raku clay art pieces. Asking
$125 for all brick and custom made fiber lid. This would also work for glass
artists who need an extra annealing kiln. The bricks have a bit of history -
salvaged from the foundry aboard the Cape Breton before they sunk her!
