The International Academy is envisaged as a global network of key research and training centres and scholar-practitioners collaborating intensively over a five year period to move the practice of violence prevention, peacemaking, and peacebuilding a leap forward so as to have a direct downward impact on the levels of violence in the world and to help restore humanity’s sense of confidence in the future.
