Niagara Palestinian Association represents the political & cultural concerns of Palestinian Canadians & friends of Palestinians in the greater Niagara area. We were founded in 2000 & are based in St. Catharines Ontario, Canada.

We have hosted successful activities such as marches, silent vigils, "History of Palestine" seminars, an "Eyewitness Report on Palestine" panel at Brock University; media education; lobbying of local & federal politicians; formal complaints against police trip to Israel; referrals to services for Palestinian refugees & immigrants; summer Potluck Picnics in Niagara Falls & St Catharines. Founding member "Building a National Voice for Palestinian Canadians" now "Palestinian Canadian Congress".

We supported the "Restore the Good Name of Susan Howard-Azzeh Campaign", an anti-defamation lawsuit against the St. Catharines Standard. After a peaceful "End the Occupation" rally the paper portrayed all marchers as 'anti-Semites'& 'holocaust deniers'. NPA is an independent organization - however we work with all groups who share mutual concerns. We are members of Niagara Coalition for Peace; Canadians for Genocide Education and Canadian Arab Federation. We work with Students for Palestinian Human Rights - Brock; Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights - McMaster; Students for Palestinian Rights - Waterloo; IRFAN; the progressive left & many many other organizations and individuals. Each group has their own focus - but we all come together united for Palestinian human rights.
