Welcome to The Stolen Briefcase, the first list for Da Vinci's Inquest creator Chris Haddock's Canadian crime caper/spy thriller television show Intelligence, starring Ian Tracey, Klea Scott and Matt Frewer. It premiered as a series on October 10, 2006 at 9pm on CBC and on Series + in Quebec at 9pm on February 22, 2007. The two-hour series pilot originally aired on November 28, 2005 and repeated on September 26, 2006. It came out on the Hallmark Channel in the UK on January 5, 2007. Though it ran for a 12-episode second season, CBC refused to renew it for a third. However, a U.S. pilot has been picked up by FOX for Fall 2008 and season one came out on DVD on May 6, 2008. It stars Ian Tracey (Mick Leary on Da Vinci's Inquest/City Hall) as Jimmy Reardon, a Vancouver marijuana baron, Klea Scott as Mary Spalding, the head of the local Organized Crime Unit and Matt Frewer as Spalding's scuzzy second-in-command, Ted Altman, and Reardon's nemesis. John Cassini, Bernie Coulson, Camille Sullivan and Sabrina Grdevich also have prominent parts.
