A couple of years ago Michaels had some tiny
frosted glass lamps (about 8" in height)and I bought
quite a few of them. I also found a spot on the
internet to purchase them but now I can't find them any
more. I've uploaded a couple of pictures of the ones
I've painted. They hold a tea light.

Does
anyone know where I can purchase these?

Sandra

Hopefully I will see an answer soon.

Be talking to

Hi! Glad to find this club. Have been doing
decorative painting for 5 years. Presently trying painting
on candles. Using DecoArt Candle Medium, following
their directions and having poor results. So tried this
- 1) sprayed with Krylon - (took days to dry) 2)
applied candle medium to entire candle - (did not cover
well) 3) applied paint. Result not great. Any
suggestions? Thanks, mowbs.

Why does it have to be side loaded brushes? Put your shadow color in and soften
the edges.

Hi all: Here is a great painting supply website
for books, patterns and supplies. What is really nice
about it is that you can look inside at the pages of
any books that you might want to order.
www.artistsclub.com It is in american currency but the prices for
books are quite reasonable.

Reno

I just purchased 2 old cross-cut saws at an auction sale - has anyone ever
painted on a saw and does anyone have a scenic pattern to paint on them?

Hi everyone: my faourite painting projects are
anything to do with Christmas or Snowmen. My very faourite
are snowmen candlesticks. They are gorgeous. they
were in an old issue of Decorative Woodcrafts - which
no longer is printed. I go through stages of
painting - sometimes I go for a month or more without
painting. Reno

Hi there I'd like to know what your favourite
project has been and also your least favourite . my
favourite was the nativity scene I did and it was from Pat
Olsen. my least favourite was a christmas puzzle idid
and it is my least favourite because it took so long
to do. there were also so many little details.
aafter that project was done I didn't paint for a year.

Hi Dana: I have been painting for ten years. I do
tole and decorative painting for myself and I also
supply 2 craft shops in my area. I also work 40+ hours a
week as a Chemical Technologist within Kraft Foods
Canada, with 2 children and a soon to be new, wonderful
husband my time is limited but everyone at home supports
my tole painting interest. I took painting lessons
for 3 years and I love painting Christmas items. I'm
also new to this chat stuff. ttyl
Reno

Hi! I'd like to welcome everyone to the club.
What is everyone up to with their painting? I'm busy
trying to finish old projects so I can start on my
Christmas painting. And I'm going to try and sell some of
my things this fall. Well that's all for now. Dana
