Shalom! Ottawa's Na'amat-Tikvah Chapter is a young women’s group (late twenties and thirties) in its 5th year!

Na'amat is a Hebrew Acroynm meaning Movement of Working Women and Volunteers. Na'amat is the largest source of child care in Israel running 280 Na'amat day care centres as well as women's shelters in Israel.

In Canada, chapters run monthly social/educational programs as well as fundraising events based on the chapter's interests. If you are new to Ottawa and looking to meet new friends, please contact us.

After a long day at work or at home, we look forward to our programs, whether gathering to hear a speaker, or taking part in an activity.

Past programs include:
Ceramic painting at Mud Oven, OBGYN, Israeli food night, pilates, preparing for Shabat and Pesach, chocolate making, doulas, Israeli dancing, dessert and recipe exchange, dietician, challah baking, etc.
