The West Carleton Freestore is patterned after the Ottawa freecycle and Kanata Freestore movements. It is open to all who want to "recycle" whatever is still useable rather than add it to the Carp landfill. After seeing many people join the Kanata and Stittsville groups from the West Carleton area I thought it was time for one of our own. Whether you are from Dunrobin, Carp, Woodlawn, Crown Point, Constance Bay, Torbolton, Fitzroy, Galetta or even Arnprior let's save on gas and recycle here first. One main rule as in all these groups EVERYTHING posted must be FREE!
