The Pidcock Roads List
Before the take-over by the Southern Railway the Pidcock Roads had become a collection of locomotive antiques, which made them at least slightly famous... among the treasures was a Baldwin DS 4-4-660 that originally was numbered 172 and later wore #12 as a part of Southern's renumbering plan. This shot of #12, shown possibly in Moultrie in April 1969, allows the detail of the roof to be readily seen, a fact that wasn't so easily possible to do when viewed from the ground. This group is for the discussion of the Pidcock Railroad group in the state of Georgia, including the Albany and Northern, the Georgia Northern, and the Georgia, Ashburn, Sylvester and Camilla Railroads. Feel free to ask questions, and relate any experiences you may have had with these railroads.
