This group is for the collecting and sharing of information relating to the Prince Edward Island Railway.

The railway was located within the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Construction of this 42inch (one meter) gauge railway started in 1871 and covered a large portion of the province. On average there was a railway station located every four km. The large railway construction debt was absorbed by Canada in 1874 when PEI entered Confederation. The railway was operated under the Canadian Government Railways till 1918 when it fell under the Canadian National Railways banner.
